The IGP - Private Doctors - Cardiff Gate

Lovely staff, all very friendly and was nice to have a good natter with the doctor whilst she carried out my implant removal. Very smooth from beginning to end of my appointment and I felt very safe even during these unprecedented times.

My family has regularly attended the IGP for approximately 6 years. I recommend the practice to everyone. This week I attended in acute pain and was seen by Dr Vanessa who was kind and compassionate and even called me the next day to follow up. Lisa, who booked my appointment was extremely helpful. Dr Hughes and Denise helped me earlier in the week also. Well done all!

Unfortunately they cancelled my appointment on the day. The reasons cited were certainly reasons that could have been communicated at the time I booked the appointment (over two weeks prior), and I may have been able to do something to make my appointment possible. They even rang me the day before to confirm my appointment, then rang again to cancel it the following morning. As a result, I have missed out on the possibility of getting an appointment elsewhere and my course of treatment has been compromised. Very disappointed at the unprofessional service.

Very much recommend this practice if you need to go private. Very easy booking system to choose a time that suits you with a big range of tests and treatments. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the clinic itself is very clean.

My whole experience with this practice was wonderful. From start to finish everyone was so helpful and kind. I had lots of questions and these were handled sensitively and respectfully by the lovely receptionist and also the brilliant Bethan Lang. My appointment was dealt with superbly as I was nervous, but I did not need to be and was very much put at ease. I had some follow up questions later on and these too were taken care of with great respect and sensitivity. I highly recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you so, so much to everyone I spoke to. Staff are lovely, professional and managed to fit me in at short notice. Dr Farah MacDonald was brilliant - I was nervous about getting my implant removed but she put me at so much ease, made me feel safe and was a smooth removal. Was really nice to have a good chat with Dr MacDonald during the process. Would highly recommend anyone needing an implant removal to book with Dr MacDonald!
