Glyn Ebwy Surgery

I have moved around quite a lot, so have been to many surgeries, this is by far the worst surgery I have attended. Appointments are never on time,shortest wait I have had was 55 minutes late. While some Dr's are knowledgeable here, it is hit or miss, often you come out of here quite sure you have been fobbed off or the Dr didn't quite know what he was talking about.

The staff are very friendly, kind, considerate and always very professional.
The building is easy access, including wherlchair access. There is limited parking, for those who most need it directly outside.
The surgery is aways very clean.
Front desk staff are exellent and the doctors have loads of experience many years of general practice knowledge between them and are exellent at their jobs and always give 100% care to their patients. consultation rooms and nurses rooms are spotless.

Very caring, kind, understanding staff, easy access including wheel chair access, limited parking to front for those who most need it, then multi story nearby and other parking available nearby.
Very clean throughout. Front desk staff very helpful, friendly and caring with years of experience.
Nurses also have years of experience are friendly and caring, exellent with patients.
The Doctors have many many years of experience are friendly, caring and alwsys put patient health first.

Extremely clean, Friendly staff, always putting the patients health and Wellbeing first. Very patient, understanding and all staff have a high level of knowledge. Wheelchair access.
All the doctors are highly qualified and are pleasant and understanding of the patients needs.

My father had a telephone appointment with the doctor , he hasn't been well for weeks ! To be told today that he has a chest infection , wow the doctors in this practice are wonderful to be able to give him this diagnosis over the telephone ! As my father told the doctor its not just his chest he's concerned with , but was told take antibiotics for a week then ring again ? . Could I please make an telephone appointment to have next week's lottery numbers please as you seem to be able to read the future now also .

Not long registered at the surgery. The receptionist staff are surprisingly lovely. (Prev surgeries haven’t been so polite) so that’s a bonus. Dr was a bit odd and gave me wrong advice on having a scan. I take vitamin D for a deficiency (confirmed by blood tests) and his response was ‘oh you don’t need that you’re too young’ and then when he read that I’m under investigation for bipolar he said ‘oh you don’t want bipolar it means one minute you’re buying holidays and spending thousands on credit cards or depressed and a recluse in the house for months’

bipolar is on a spectrum, not the best introduction I must say ….

I have to share my opinion of Glyn Ebwy Surgery with others. The Staff are in my opinion quite exceptional every one of the girls on reception are pleasant
helpful and courteous. The new Triage phone system has always worked for me and understandable in these exceptional times well done all of the staff and a personal thank u from me

I have had a few issues with this place over the past year. Now I know its not the overall staff at the practice but a few members who have ruined it for me.

Its come to the point that I have anxiety when ringing the reception, as I feel that I will be met with sarcasm or just made to feel bad about calling in the first place.

I didn't get the help I needed, and will be transferring to a different practice.

I wasn't offered several options, and I didn't decline a face to face appointment I declined a face to face with that particular doctor. Your doctor also abruptly shut the phone after saying "bye" in a rude way without giving me a chance to discuss what she would be doing in the next appointment, I then called back the receptionist to find out what the doctor would be doing and was given a vague response. Thus the 1 star review.
