Booking system is very poor!
Covid is around for at least two and a half years and it's probably going to stay, it's time to move forward and be more efficient.

Anyone suffering from a health issue, you better go private or straight to the hospital as you will not be able to book an appointment.

Lived in Pontprennau 7 years. Only ever needed to see a doctor twice in my life (so far at my previous doctors) Awful medical centre with very little help from staff. Rude on the phone reading scripts with zero compassion. Told to call 8am daily to then be told "emergencies only call tomorrow". Whats the point? I'm an emergency service worker myself and undertsand the pressures but at this rate you will NEVER see a doctor for diagnosis of any underlying health issues.
Following advice, Yesterday I called into Cyncoed medical centre, Registered & Received a call this morning and I'm already booked in next week. THATS WHAT YOU CALL SERVICE!

The receptionists are retards, and the doctors are idiots. It is impossible to get an appointment without pretending its an emergency. The WORST gp practice ever.

Terrible service and poor staff!!
They do not care about patient they’re not listened to what patients said, they do raise their voice on the phone on patients, Poor clinic Surgery I’ve ever seen in my whole life!! reception staff are so rude and they do hurry!
One of the GP who didn’t realised what’s wrong with me and he wasted my time for over three years because he couldn’t realised the lump on my body isn’t fatty tissue,, after two years because of A SEVERE PAIN ON MY WHOLE LEFT HAND AND RIGHT HAND and also my spine I’ve been referred for MRI SCAN Finally !! SO I attended FOR MRI scan AND I’ve been notified I have three different lines of problem and also two DIFFERENT TUMORE!! and then now I am in very poor health condition and still waiting for operation! that is all because of their Gp wasn’t knowledgeable enough shame!! They couldn’t play with peoples life so easy!! when I get better I’ll dragged this matter to court for certainly.

Wow, These people do not give a damm, I had run out of my diabetes drugs and rang the pharmacy asking where they are and they said I had been dropped by the surgery I was surprised and thought a mistake had been made, When I rang the surgery they confirmed that yes I had indeed been dropped by them I said this was news to me and they said they had written to me telling because i missed appointments (they were supposed to text me the appointments for my leaking leg but they did not) I was no longer welcomed, I said because of my diabetes I can't do gardening and path is overgrown and the postperson is no longer delivering letters so I had not seen them, I asked don't you use any other communications system like thay have in the past - TXT phone Email they said no, and they never wanted to see me again ever.

Just had appointment with Dr Cane(s)? Wonderful addition to the practice. Very pleasant, efficient, helpful and just so nice. They all are!! Great Surgery, great Doctors, great Admin. Thank you!

Unhappy with the change to how they do uti testing. Receptionist told me its a change to nhs guidelines. 111 told me it's not and it's down to surgery discretion. I suffer with recurrent utis and every time I come into this surgery to ask for a sample bottle it's like I've committed a crime!

Terrible practice. Called more than 1000 times across 3 days. Cannot get through and cannot make an appointment to see a doctor.
