Penybryn Surgery

This surgery has always been pretty good, but recently it is terrible. I rang 10 days ago and was promised a phonecall from a dr that day. I'm still waiting. I have been unable to get through to them since, no answer. Have been trying to order my repeat prescription online for days, the website is constantly down. Finally got through this morning and was told to ring a different number for prescriptions, to be told I have to ring the usual number. Tried ringing the usual number back, no answer again!!
Also saw a Locum Dr there several weeks ago with complete numbness to my lower leg, and was told to go swimming!

Lost hope in doctors after seeing a doctor at this surgery. My vertebrae was sticking out (The doctor pointed this out to me) I was in extreme pain & having to travel by bus (crying in pain each visit) to the surgery I was told to take paracetamol & return to work. Two years later I was approached by staff member & was asked to go into a room before I could see a doctor I did, I was asked if I was going to sue the surgery for negligence. I pleaded for help & I wont sue them. Help was poor so I left the surgery. I am currently struggling with spinal injuries 12 years later.

I am from germany i had a bad sickness bug and Penybryn Surgery was the only one offering proper help. The Receptionist is by far the friendliest you can find and will help you with advise and will offer other options. Flawless service!

My wife has been registered at this doctors for over thirty years and now they say she and myself have 28 days to find a new doctors because since they amalgamated with gowerton we can no longer be seen by them, she has serious health problems which when diagnosed nearly 9 years ago they said they would take care of her health program. I and my wife are disgusted to be treated this way they are disgraceful.Less than six months later she has sadly died so thank you Penybryn Surgery

Always a pleasure to phone or walk in to this surgery. Dr Jackson was a god send and helped me after months of worrying. Reception staff are equally amazing but for me personally Sam stands out she always goes the extra mile.

Hopeless system cannot get anywhere re getting my wife's flu sorted a broken NHS I am ashamed.

Very supportive GPs and quick responding to the “ask my GP” requests.

if i could i would give them no stars at all. You can never get in contact with them on the phone line it is always busy with a silly message which we all know about. After a while you are cut off so you need to phone again and listen to that silly message all over again.
Today I am trying to contact them via ASK MY GP at 8.40 but not sure what is happening message states we are unable to take any more messages. What has happened to the GPs try using AskmyGP service but now out of service please phone us.
