Good little shop packed with goodies at great prices. Have to ring a bell to get someone to let you in but this is why the Prices are so good your not paying to have someone stand in shop all day. Much cheaper then some of the big brands Pet Shops. 😁

Genuine people who care about their dogs. We have a super little puppy from them. Nothing posh just happy dogs and healthy puppies.

It felt like we we're visiting a puppy farm when we arrived we we're invited into the kitchen whilst the owner carried some of the puppies into the viewing pen. The kitchen area was absolutely filthy really really dirty and the pup's seemed timid and not used to human interaction no thanks not for me, such a shame as we had traveled 300 miles.

Collected my beautiful puppy from Shelly this weekend. What a fantastic and lovely breeder, few and far between I'd say. A unique experience.

We've been meaning to write this review for sometime but to be honest I've been too upset, we got our Flatcoated Retriever pup from here just over a year ago and he has been so unbelievably ill since the day we got him. The night we brought him home he had bloody diareahh so we took him straight to the vets, they did stool samples which came back positive for a whole host of stomach infections. He was placed on a range of antibiotics and it took a very, very long time to get him right.

During this time we started to notice balding patches on his skin, again we went back to the vets who did weeks of tests on him followed by months of food alterations and hundreds of pounds worth of medication. A year on and they still don't know what the problem is, we are committed to him and adore his character but he is an extremely sick dog. He's lost most of his hair, has ongoing intestinal issues, ear inflammation, weight loss... the list just goes on and on.

This is our third Flatcoat (previous two have been the picture of health, this has nothing short of horrified us) but this is the first time we've brought from this kennel and did so as it's local and we fell in love with the pup straight away. We should've done our reading first.

These are sensitive, beautiful dogs who deserve much better than to be kept and bred in cold, infection ridden kennels out the back of someones house. We've since seen the pups father being sold off for breeding to the highest bidder on a local selling page, no reputable breeder would do this, especially not to this beautiful breed.
