Dog Run Enclosed Area

Really good to use when you have a young dog who have not yet been let off. Only down side people not picking up there dog mess when using the area!

My dog loves it, a fairly sized space but would be better if there were more benches, maybe something in the middle of the area for the dogs to play on like a ramp or something to get them moving a bit more. I would go more frequently if other dog owners picked up their mess but unfortunately not everyone does meaning we leave 70% of the time with dog poo on our pup which is a shame really.

Great idea, unfortunately covered in dog pop. Shame really as you have to let your dog in here so obviously owners were present and just left it. Enclosure itself is great. Well secured with heavy self close gates and separated into two areas.

I often do a long drive from my home in Merseyside to visit my mum. I arrive late and it is great to know there is somewhere well lit and looked after where I can let my dog have a run around. Thank you to Oadby and Wigston council for providing this I appreciate it.

Very small, can't give your dog a good run. Dog mess everywhere. Not puppy friendly as there are gaps in the fencing he can easily fit though. I wouldn't bother if you're not local. We drove and it turned out to be a wasted trip.

So glad we were introduced to this place. Great place to socialise a pup and get them use to being off lead without the risk of them running away or playing with dogs who aren't interested. Highly recommend.

It's a great place to safely let your dog off of the lead, especially for training & pups. Just a shame that some owners cannot clean up after their own dogs and use the bins provided. Please clean up after your visit to make it great for everyone else who visits. Well done to OAW council for providing this great feature.

We have a rescue dog and were worried about letting her off the lead but it was very safe for her to run around and have some ball chasing fun!
