Cotswold Dog Training

I would highly recommend Cotswold Dog Training. We weren’t first time dog owners having had several OES dogs and rescue dogs over the years, but we were almost at our wits end with some of the behaviour problems we were having with our 9 months old sheepadoodle.
The 1-2-1 sessions we had with Sophie were a godsend and Sophie taught us ways to deal with her over excitement with jumping up, mouthing/chewing (of us!) and the barking. The improvements we saw were almost immediate and with the practising more so all the time. The tips from Sophie on loose lead walking saw great improvements here too, with her being much calmer and less excited and walks now being much more pleasurable.
Having gained so much so quickly with the 1-2-1 sessions, where Sophie showed us with so much patience and clarity what to do, we’ve just booked for some further sessions with Sophie. We can’t thank her enough for all her help.

Faultless dog training service provided. We signed up for 4 behaviour session to help improve our 10 month old cocker spaniel with recall, loose lead walking & barking at the door. Sophie who provided the training was very knowledgeable, patient & personable, which made every session more enjoying for both us & our dog Wallace. Would highly recommended!

First off, Cotswold Dog Training were really helpful and accommodating when I had to reschedule my appointments several times due to delays actually getting my dog. Secondly, once we could actually start training, our trainer Sophie was absolutely lovely! Always so friendly and helpful and brilliant with our pup. She gave really useful advice and offered extra guidance when needed. She always made it very fun for the pup who learned so quickly thanks to these sessions. I can't recommend enough.

Sophie was amazing, she has been very helpful and patient and have definitely noticed improved results since training with her! Would highly recommend.

I’ve been taking my pup to Vinny since he was 16 weeks old and cannot recommend him highly enough! His knowledge is brilliant and he approaches training in a sensitive reward based way which is the perfect fit for me. I’m now taking pup to agility and again, the classes are such good value for money!

Vinny has also been helping my sister with her two 4 y/o who are very reactive and not great around other dogs. The improvement in just a few months is outstanding and we can’t thank him enough!

We’ve been so impressed with our trainer Sophie from Cotswolds Dog Training - she’s been helping us train our sproodle puppy right from 3 months. As we were new to dog owning too she helped us understand what to do and how to do it. Her calm clear explanations and fab sense of humour helped get inside our puppy’s head and even now at just 8 months we get compliments on his behaviour and he’s a really lovely dog. We can’t thank Sophie enough and our puppy thinks it’s Christmas every time he sees her!
