Specialist Dog Training

Jackie has helped our rescue dog Trooper along enormously during her sessions. Jackie offers realistic expectations for how much your dog can improve - our Trooper is by no means perfect yet, but he is like a completely different dog since we started training with Jackie. I would highly highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for some training for their dog.

After trying different training methods and another dog trainer, we had Jackie come to our home in the hope that she could help us. We felt like there was no hope in getting our dog to walk to heel and getting help regarding his reactivity to everything. We completed 6 sessions at our house and within our local park. Our dog is completely different from when we first started and though we still have room for improvement, I can now walk him with confidence and in control. No short of a miracle! I would 100% recommend Jackie to anyone seeking help with their dog, she made us feel comfortable and gave us all the knowledge we needed to complete the training. We are very grateful to have had Jackie help us.

We recently got a Jack Russell after our King Charles passed away, it’s safe to say we were not prepared for the change in temperament. After trying to solve a few issues (possessive, biting, not listening to commands) ourself we reached out to Jackie and learnt SO SO MUCH! After a few sessions we could start to see a HUGE change in temperament and a much calmer environment in the home! After finishing our home sessions we are now attending Saturday classes in her field with other dogs to help with training while out and about meeting others ! You will only achieve as much from this as you put into this! We cannot thank Jackie enough ! Would recommend to anyone !

We are so happy that our research brought us to Jackie, as we sought training advice with regard to our two cockapoos. Over three extensive visits to our home Jackie was able to give us a comprehensive behavioural assessment and then a suitable programme to address elements that could be improved. During the course of these visits, we have had remarkable success by putting into practice on a daily basis all the constructive advice that Jackie's expertise has given us. This has resulted in a much calmer environment both in the home and outside and using the taught techniques, we now feel much more confident and the dogs far less reactive in every situation. It was also very helpful to receive Jackie's follow up notes after each session. These written recaps of our lessons have been invaluable reference tools and will continue to be so as we all move forward in a much more enjoyable way. We got a our puppy at 12 weeks old as she didn't get on in her first home. We was really eager to get her on the right path as soon as possible so we called Jackie for the one to one sessions. She has been so helpful from the first minute of meeting her. If we have had any inbetween sessions shes always been happy to help. Shes reassuring and cares about the owners and the dogs. You definitely get your moneys worth from her training, the reports you recieve and the help she offers around this. I couldn't recommend highly enough!

Jackie has been fantastic help to us in the training of our new dog. We rescued a four year old dog and asked Jackie to help us from the start, which has proved to be super valuable. We had three sessions around three weeks apart to help us train our dog both in the home and out on walks, based on a personalised plan. Jackie is lovely, clear and thoughtful, full of experience and tips. Her calmness gave us lots of confidence. We’ll be coming back for some socialisation classes with other dogs and owners, for sure.

I stumbled across Jackie’s website whilst searching online and am nothing but grateful that I did. Her help with our 3yr old Akita Church has been nothing short of game changing.

He was struggling with anxiety whilst on walks which in turn made it difficult to keep his focus on leadership and commands. This is of course tough with a bigger dog, but Jackie was able to spot the sources of all the issues we needed help with and gave simple and effective steps to solving them in a way that would stick. She was responsive if things got tough, and after a quick call we were back on track. No corner cutting, or quick fixes, just genuine knowledge and experience, all passed on in a way that was manageable and realistic! By the time we had completed our three 121 sessions we had the tools to deal with everything that was previously a struggle and an instilled sense of confidence to keep developing a strong connection with Church for the rest of his life.

The only issue we now have is Church not seeing his Auntie Jackie for a while, but fingers crossed we’ll see her soon on one of her group walks!
