Kent Acting Studio

Our daughter (13) attends KAS every weekend and really looks forward to it, perhaps more so than any other pastime she has taken part in before. She was previously with two other local performing arts groups, but chose this one for the focus on acting techniques, as opposed to mainly singing or dancing. We have been bowled over by the increases in her self-confidence and skillset since joining the group. A mini performance which took place only weeks into her membership highlighted this; we were impressed with the leadership and clear inspiration being imparted to the group. I should add it has also been a valuable opportunity for her to make some really good friends outside of her daily school peer groups, we feel this is an important aspect. If you’re thinking of arranging a trial or just joining, do it!

My son has been attending KAS for four years now and looks forward to every Saturday session. He always says he is disappointed when the session finishes. Tudor is a skilled, experienced actor who develops the children’s acting acting skills with enthusiasm, hard-work, good planning and, importantly, fun and enjoyment. Would recommend to any parent who wants their child to develop good communication skills, improve their confidence, enhance their ability to work as part of team and also on an individual level. The skills that young people develop at Kent Acting Studio go far beyond simply 'acting'. To listen, empathise, to have clarity and confidence when speaking, the nuances and power of posture, adaptability, imagination, interpersonal skills, teamwork, I could go on. Tudor is highly experienced, knowledgeable and fantastically skilled in nurturing youngsters, young adults and adults!!! I cannot recommend enough; a gleaming highlight in my child's week.

My daughter started with KAS about a year ago having done lots of performing arts before. KAS has developed and challenged her and increased her confidence with straight drama. Tudor is friendly, approachable, knowledgable and professional and makes the classes and shows fun for all.
