All I can say is.. YOU WILL NOT REGRET training at ADS. I’ve been to university, I’ve done an MA at drama school and only until starting at ADS have I really learnt how to act!!! It’s been the most phenomenal training ground! Fay is an incredibly unique teacher who will push you to be the best. If you are passionate about your craft and willing to do what it takes, sign up!!!

One of the worst acting experiences I ever had in London.

I tried the "drop in acting class" on a Sunday at 11am and I was given a "teacher" (to call her somehow) that didn't even introduced herself to the students (I thought we had a male teacher coming in but she appeared and did not even had the nice gesture of introducing herself to the new students like myself that never saw her before), she lost 15min just using a laptop without saying to us how the class would be performed or guided (she was just doing something on a laptop because she was typing without even looking at the students), she said that the class would be only 1h when it states to be 2h when you book it and she was very rude. Not even a smile or a thanks to the students for appearing to the class. Instead, she was putting other students down for "booking the Sunday class but not making presence" with a superiority feeling and bad manners.

She (finally) started the class after 15mins past the initial time and her first words were: "This is not a technique class. Take out whatever you wanted to prepare". The description of the "drop in" it stated, indeed, that you can work on scripts but it also said that students without anything prepared would be given tasks or something to "work on", however, she made us to google whatever script we could find to work on it instead of "losing time" (said by her). After this, a boy left the class.

Another girl who attended the class asked the "teacher" if the class would be recorded and she said that we can record with our phones on a tripod (????).

She was literally telling us that "she made everything clear" on the drop in description and when I kindly asked her if the studio was holding acting classes on the weekends as other acting schools in London (because apparently this was not an acting class itself) she put me down saying "we are not other schools". I repeated to her that my only question was if the studio had classes during the weekends as it is hard to combine a full time job and a half-day course in acting in an adult stage during the week and her answer was "this is what you will do if you want to be an actor". She was, basically, telling me to drop my job to do the acting course to "be an actor".

I never received such a treatment from acting teachers or professionals and this is definitely my first and last time at this studio. I left at the beginning of the class too because I didn't even felt the atmosphere to continue acting.

I also had a prior problem with this company as I was supposed to attend this drop in 1 week before and even though I got sick and tried to cancel 24h before, no one answered my phone or emails so I lost 2 classes for, literally, nothing.

They do not even seem to bother to reply bad experiences/reviews, to give refunds for bad experiences or to change anything so, good luck to anyone joining their courses...

I attended a drop in class recently and was really impressed by the class. The teacher took the time to explain the method and was very knowledgable. It was a small group so we had a lot of time to work per person. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn a technique to acting.

Actors Door Studio has been a truly unique and rewarding experience. The training is intensive but has given me a far clearer insight into how to become a stronger, more confident and much more specific actor.

Fay Beck is a phenomenal coach, teacher and guru and has an extremely thorough and insightful team of instructors (Martina/Alana/Mollie) working at all levels of the training to help guide all students on their journey.

Dedicating oneself to training at Actors Door Studio is one of the best ways to utilize your time, whether you are someone who wants to dip their toes in the water, or are a seasoned performer looking to hone your skills and sharpen your tools.

Cannot recommend ADS highly enough.

I had such a brilliant time at the drop in acting workshop. The teaching was great and we were all encouraged to explore emotions and bring them to the exercises. The lesson felt like a safe space free from judgement, where there was no right or wrong way. I loved it

Had a drop in class for the first time in my life as a birthday gift to myself. I was so impressed by how much we learned, I absolutely enjoyed it. So much that I'm coming back next Thursday and I'm thinking of signing up for the foundation course and the the 3 year flex. I really want to explore more of what they teach.

If you are looking for a real school that teaches you the craft of acting on stage, on screen + the business side of things, this is just the perfect place.

If you are doing countless workshops that would not seriously consider that you can have an acting career and rip you off of your money in the process then I highly recommend Actors Door Studio. Especially when people are looking at someone switching careers in their late 30s like I did, they tell you that it is too late. But I am confident that I can, in fact, switch career thanks to coach Fay Beck and the ADS teachers who will be dedicated to train and push you like an athlete, they believe in their students regardless of their background, everybody stands a chance.

Forever grateful for the 2-year program and screen acting program!

Thanks Coach Fay and team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
