Altered my two bridesmaids dresses which look fabulous with the additions especially to the flower girl dress. Very professional love friendly place. The dresses look beautiful and very reasonable. I have some clothes I want altered so I will be back. Thank you

Cath did alterations on my wedding dress and 4 bridesmaid dresses, two of the bridesmaid dresses needed a lot of work and Cath did a really good job. Would use again for any other sewing work that's too much for me. Thanks for making my dress look perfect for my big day.

Absolutely amazing.
I had a corset back put in my wedding dress along with a couple of other adjustments to make it perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of the workmanship is outstanding.

I arrived at this shop just ten minutes before closing time today to get my daughter’s school bag mended before she returns to school tomorrow. I expected to have to leave it as they’d want to close the shop but wonderful ladies in this shop not only fixed it right away, but when I mentioned I needed a tape measure gave me one for free!
When I wanted to pay they said ‘Oh no it was hardly anything!’
Of course I insisted on giving them something but what thoughtful kind and generous people they are. It really made my day. Oh, and the repair was perfect too!!!

I cannot thank the ladies enough at The Little Sewing Room! They went above and beyond for me and my bridesmaids at every appointment, they couldn’t have done more and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who asked. Thank you so much ❤️

I dropped some clothing off for repairs, the lady was very pleasant and told me the clothes would be ready the following week. The following week I received a text saying they hadn't had time to do them and would be ready the following Tuesday. On Tuesday I made a detour there to find them closed. I went the following Saturday, they still hadn't done the repairs. I said I was going on holiday the next day so would collect when I returned. Ten days later I called in. You've guessed it, still not done! The excuse this time was, I thought you would be away for two weeks, I am only human. At no time did I infer how long I would be away for.
If I had been told that the clothes would take five weeks, then I could have made an informed decision, to leave them and wait, or take them elsewhere. The lady seems very pleasant but is very unreliable. Tip: Don't take on work, then keep leaving it when more lucrative work comes in.
I am happy to say I called another lady who was recommended to me, she was very professional, she told me they would be ready in two weeks and called me after one week to say the clothes were ready. Happy days.
I hate to leave negative reviews but The Little Sewing Room messed me about, week after week. Just be honest and don't take on more than you can manage.
