Alex is a very reliable, experienced and accommodating instructor. He is also very patient and shouts at you only when he teaches emergency stop :) highly recommended!

Alex is a great instructor, very clear methods of how to do things perfectly, especially manoeuvres. He is always on time and available even at short notice and even provides all pupils with a booklet of everything you'll need to remember to pass your test.

I had an assessment lesson with Alex and although he is a very knowledgeable instructor with lots of experience, he was patronising in his teaching style.

I found it to be an uncomfortable experience given the inappropriate comment he made about the length of my skirt and the generalising statements he made about female drivers and women in general. I would not recommend, especially to female learners.

I cant thank Eye drive school of motoring enough. PASSED JUST ONLY AFTER 3 hour lesson. I cant even believe it aswell. Alex, my instructor might be a bit strict but trust me its worth it. If you wanna pass your test,

2 weeks before my practical my instructor bailed on me, i called many instructors and told them my situation. Alec was the only instructor out off the 30 instructors i called who were willing to help. I done about 6 hours worth off lessons with him an he taught me more then my other instructor taught me in the past few months. he corrected loads off mistakes i was making that my other instructor never mentioned. he gave me very good techniques to complete my maneuvers correctly. he taught me all situations i could off been put in and even took me too the car park that my exam center takes the students too during your actual exam. thanks to Alec i passed my practical with only 2 minor faults. would definitely recommend.

Alex (Alexander Brownlee) is a very experienced instructor with true driving and teaching expertise. Alex was a "godsend", very proactive and knowledgeable.
He was always punctual and professional.
I certainly recommend Alex of the Eye Driving School.
I am from Brazil (Vila Velha - Espirito Santo) and can confirm Alex does NOT dislike people from Brazil (and other countries).
