Dhobi Dry Cleaners

They have snapped my expensive dress straps, restitched it back in the wrong place, and denied it!! Now I have to get it sent to be repaired and technically they are liable to pay for my repair AND postage, but since I don’t have their receipt it’s now my word against theirs! Not happy!!

I have been using this dry cleaners for years now and cannot praise them enough! the owner is very friendly and can never do enough to help. I have never had an issue with any damage to garments either, everything comes back in pristine condition and I use their dry cleaning service around once a month. They have also fixed items for me at very competitive prices. Excellent service and always with a smile, 5* :)

I lost buttons and cotton patches from my jumper - I called them but the number on website was incorrect so I texted to a lady who phoned me to arrange a pick up but she did not come back.

- later I found that my patch on jumper got actually melted down with inccorect way of dry cleaning.

I went to the store and when I raised a complaint and all of sudden an old guy came out and was shouting at me and kicked me out. Not even feel sorry or even look at the jumper to see what happened. I recorded a video of what he was doing and I tried to raise a complaint against through government agency but apparently this shop is a dodgy one - not registered in government website.

AVOID

Very friendly and helpful owners. Always a pleasure to see their smiling faces and receive their attentive service. Yes, the shop is tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment and could put off any new customers, but they sure do a great job of cleaning my clothing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellent dry cleaners. Friendly and attentive staff. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They always do a great job and have never let me down. (Appearances can be deceptive - don’t be put off by the dishevelled and worn out look of the shop!)

Sent a jacket over with a tiny bit of blood on the elbow and jacket came back exactly the same as when i took it in to get dry cleaned. Do not use this business. Waste of time and money, would definitely not recommend. if I could give the rating 0 out of 10 that would still be a higher rating than they deserve

They do very neat alterations, are freindly and helpful.
