Southborough Dry Cleaners

First time I've used them and I collected a really clean suit, better clean than Johnsons in town, they removed a mark that Johnsons couldn't, and for a few quid less. My new dry cleaners.

We regularly use Southborough Dry Cleaners for a range of dry cleaning and laundering large items. They are reasonably priced and always helpful about cleaning special items like curtains and duvets.

Rude staff! Charge an absolute fortune. Then had the cheek to charge more then what was on the ticket, when I asked why stated they had to use a special zip, she said someone should of phoned me (they never) and so had to pay it! Wouldn’t say any of it was cleaned particularly well and they smoke and then handle the clothes and I hate the smell of smoke. Would never go back, even my 6 year old said how miserable the staff are!

So expensive it’s ridiculous.
Maybe turn the music down & get off the phone the next time a customer walks in?

Very efficient service. Very nice staff who are very helpful.

I go to a dry cleaners to get my clothes cleaned, and I have to give them credit, they did a great job.

My order was delayed approximately a week, understandable, tough stains take time to remove and my clothes were returned to me in pristine condition.

The downsides to this business are;

a. Relatively unhelpful staff, no follow up / text to let me know when my clothes had been finished, resulted in three trips back until I actually got my stuff.

b. They broke the zip on my suit bag, and forgot they even had it, without me chasing them for this I would not have had it returned. They also completely lost the suit hanger.

c. There is always a different member of staff at the laundrette. Again, not an issue, but there is no communication between staff so I had to have the same conversation about my clothes three times to three different people to get my clothes back.

Dry cleaning was good, hence 4 star review. Everything else, well below average.

I've always found them good and quick for cleaning but I've just picked up a jacket I took to them for a small repair and dear me it's been butchered. My girlfriend is livid I didn't let her have a go at it for free.

When I showed the lady working there the mess it was in she just said "we did say it might be visible" I didn't realise she meant from the space station.

Avoid for alterations.
