The Steamroom

I love The Steamroom and it's 'mom & pop' vibe. They're super quick, efficient, and always kind. One time I had to get a jacket pocket fixed and a few other items cleaned on a rather quick turnaround. I had unfortunately missed the time to come back in to pick it up before my trip so I reached out to them, and they were able to go above and beyond for me to make sure I got my items back before my trip. I don't know many other places that would do such a kindness for one of their clients. I will certainly continue bringing my clothes here even if I've moved out of the area. Highly recommend! Thank you The Steamroom for all you do :)

Absolutely brilliant service. I brought in a garment, with little hope that it could be recovered, but they did it. Their expertise is amazing. And as a plus, they are lovely so it's always a pleasure to come back.

I get my down jackets dry cleaned here. I wouldn't trust any other dry cleaner in the area.

I first met Tony almost 20 years ago when I was still local. They are simply the kindest people and extremely knowledgeable. Most recently I managed to destroy one on my favourite dresses and Tony magically restored it. Can't recommend enough!

I got my massive feather down sofa innards cleaned. The “wet dog” smell has completely gone and the pillows are now super fluffy (see the difference of the middle two pillows that were cleaned in the picture). Will be going back for any dry cleaning as the service was super friendly, informative and professional. There’s also some really cool art in the front of the shop.

Fantastic specialist dry cleaners that also supports creative talent. The owners Fran & Tony could not be more welcoming and they provide a genuine friendly service for the local area. They also collaborate with and give space to Asian artists and designers. Highly recommended

Had a really long vintage wool coat dry cleaned. Two day turnaround for about £12. Friendly staff and quick service, wouldn't go anywhere else!
