Didn't believe the bad reviews - how bad could a dry cleaner be? Well, I took a never before dry cleaned pleated, lined black skirt in. They somehow undid most of the pleats, pressed them unevenly and managed to get white threads embedded in the fabric. She told me there were some "bubbles" that they couldn't get out and showed me some white spots. It looked like lint. But the whole front of the skirt turned out to have white threads entwined in the fabric. I also took in a cashmere/silk blend wrap. It came out stiff, pilled and not seeming clean. I don't recommend.

I took a bag of Laundry to Dry Centre last year and, unfortunately, when I got home the laundry was still damp and had begun to smell. I returned it. They offered to wash it again, but the same thing happened. So, I gave up on them. I’ve just tried them again - hoping that my last experience was just bad luck - and, not only did they not dry the washing again, but they tried to charge me four times the price! I asked the man behind the counter to smell the damp washing - ‘Smells like sick,’ he said. I won’t be returning again.

Got an unpleaseant start of the day...
Dropped 2 bags for a simple wash & dry and got charged £44.
I am blaming myself first off all for not having chosen a different dry-cleaner after having read the reviews (always think you need to give an extra-chance...) and secondly for not asking how many loads it will be (obviously my hypothetical 2 loads turned into 4).
We have freshly moved into the neighbourhood a week ago and discovering the area.
I thought, from a business point of view, customers need to be attracted, cherished and preserved especially when dealing with new customers as they have unknown spending potential.
Therefore you shall try to find a way to accomodate your clients if issues arise by making or converting the situation into a win-win move, finding a positive solution for both parties...
It was poorly managed, did not like the attitude nor the interaction, I paid my £44 and they will never get a penny more from me!

I can't understand these bad reviews, I use this dry cleaners all the time for my own bridal brand (i.e. fragile laces, expensive silks etc) and they are nothing but excellent. Ignore the negativity and give them a whirl.

I’ve been using this dry cleaner every week for years. They are friendly staff who are very helpful. I use the shirt service, dry cleaning, repairs and service wash. Very happy with all their services.

very expensive and did not have dry cleaning ready on time. Even the next day- or the day after- had to wait before rushing to a wedding in the morning for them to get it ready in time.

Staff do not honour pre-paid vouchers. They said they were fully booked for pickups. I filed a complaint but this lead to nothing.
Avoid this place if you can.

I have been going to Dry City for two years now. I live in the neighbourhood and they are my go-to place for any clothes maintenance jobs – from simple shirt ironing to tricky alterations and nearly impossible cleaning feats. It is a family run business, with friendly and competent staff. They are flexible, they never said no to my requests and never missed an order. Thumbs up. Keep it up guys!
