Lagoon Dry Cleaners

Contrary to the previous reviewer, I had an excellent experience at Lagoon. The chap who runs it is very friendly, the cost for a trouser alteration was £10, which is what I would pay at most dry cleaners (let alone in an area like this where everything seems to be at a premium), and they were there ready to pick up two days later as agreed. Will use them again.

Excellent service at fair price. Very reliable and able to clean heavy stains. Never damaged any of the shirts/suits I brought them.

The person running this company didn't even mention they had destroyed two of my garments, I only realised when I opened the bag at home - my fault for trusting them and not checking there! When I took them back he was insisting the garments already had holes - they were brand new! He refused to refund, but took back one of them to repair, only to do a hideous job. Do not trust them with expensive clothes. On top of everything the clothes were not properly cleaned.

I live in different hotels in London during my business trip. I normally used hotel dry cleaning express service. Normally I sent clothes to staff and get back next day morning. But in Lagoon Dry Cleaners I need to wait for 3 days.

I lived in Cheval three quays Hotel London for 1 night, I sent a bag of clothes to them to clean on Friday afternoon ( recommend by hotel) I asked for express service, the staff said I can collect at 11:00 am on Saturday for the laundry service And come again at 19:15pm for the dry cleaning service.
I came at 11:00am paid £41 for all laundry clothes, but the two white shirts were still dirty with colour marks. The staff said if the time is not enough for them to clean it properly. The white shirts (2 piece) and 1 tracksuit set all left a lot of marks! I said okay no problem.
In the afternoon, as I need to leave the hotel earlier so that I went to the shop again and explained to the staff that I am not able to wait for 7:15PM, If it is any chance to get them quicker, they was very rude to tell me " do you understand what I told you, only can be the time I told you!" So that I went to his shop again and I ask for the total bill and paid arranged DHL collection service on the coming Monday. He asked £50 and I paid £50 for all dry cleaning services. And I explained to him again and told him I am not able to come back again please put all my stuff in the package and the DHL driver will collect during his opening hours.

When I received delivery, I found one of my item missing, I contacted the staff, he said that missing one didn’t dry. Then I took 2 hours to come and collect the missing item from him. ( what is the point to book delivery collection?). He (Bob) said I have to pay this as he didn’t charge this item! And he said I am wasting his time and ask me to go away from his door.

So rude and bad customer service! I sent just a few clothes he charged £91, and I have to go from far away to collect 3 times plus one time DHL collection. Very bad communications he was delivering. Very time consuming and it is expensive service and most items are not cleaned properly. I don’t recommend it at all.

Not sure why there's any bad reviews for this. Had a suit repaired and dry cleaned here, the price was very good given the area and the guy in charge was friendly. Would use again and recommend to others.

I went here recently to have three of my (very nice) dresses altered. Specifically hemming one, shortening the straps on another and pulling in the boddice on the third.

The service was fantastic, the gentleman was nice, easy to talk to and knew what he was doing. I'm extremely happy with the result of the alternations - all the dresses fit perfectly now - and everything was ready on time!

Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back here!

Went here this week. Dropped off 2 dresses and 2 skirts for dry cleaning. Was ready exactly when they promised and they managed to get a chocolate stain off of my skirt. £37 in total. Pleased and will return! Thanks!

Disappointed to say the least, £30 pounds for a machine wash and no ironing. Not very friendly or helpful. wont be going there again.

In reply to your below - it was 4 shirts not sure where 9 came from, maybe I’d your including t shirts? Further more my whites are now grey so I’m assuming u washed them in one wash. Either way for a simple wash and fold - 30’pounds is crazy. Anyway - won’t be coming back.
