I had a very very disturbing experience with them. I gave them valuable clothing to wash, I told them exactly what I wanted them to do (cold wash NO DRY CLEANING), standard transaction simple instruction for a dry cleaners.
I returned a week later and immediately before the garments were handed over was asked to pay the full amount, it was rushed and which I felt a bit odd about the payment so I decided to check the clothes
I was shocked to find that one of my garments completely ruined. I immediately asked the clerk what he was intended to do about it and said "it was already like that when I took it in", that "he had the photos to prove it", that "it wasn't his fault, he didn't serve me", that I was "just trying to get money from him". He changed his story about ten times and I got very angry more angry than I have ever gotten in a dry cleaners. He acted so rudely. Terrible terrible, terrible attitude.
So, not only did the joker in the shop take my money without pointing out the damage, he then denied ruining my garment, then even worse, accused me of being a thief for giving him a damaged garment in the first place and trying to get money out of him.
I was exasperated. His response? To tell me to "Go on, leave a bad review" as if it didn't matter that he can ruining people clothes and treat them badly and take their money. Absolutely unforgivable and shoddy service.
You can see from the picture that there is no way anyone would dry clean a damaged good.
Idiots on here do not read the tags of their clothes and ask these guys to do certain things which cause damage. It is not their responsibility if you have asked for something dry cleaned that says “do not dry clean”.
Please ignore entitled people here leaving bad reviews, these guys are really lovely and do their best to make sure the customer leaves happy!
Update in response to below: This was not a money issue. Both of the items that I received back had stains on them. As people below have said - my items also were returned late and weren't done when I came to pick them up the first time. They likely were only steamed - not actually dry cleaned. The owner was rude and started to say he had a £1m business - but if he had that sort of money making business he'd probably have better equipment and a cleaner establishment. I would pay double if they did an actually good job, but they don't. See photos attached.
I find the people working here really friendly and the guy who is usually there (I assume Raj from the other reviews) has always been cool and I’ve had only pleasant interactions with him.
So I’ll continue to use the service as long as I live round here.
