I have now used this branch twice, mainly because it is close and handy to use with parking. The first time I took my wedding dress to be cleaned, and was happy with the result. However, the second time, I took 2 pairs of work trousers to be shortened. I was a bit shocked that it would cost £32 for 2 pairs, however, I was in a rush to get done, so just went ahead. After wearing each pair of trousers, only a couple of times, the cotton was coming loose, and the hem coming down,.... What a complete waste of money and a rip off. They haven't been sewn very well at all considering the cost. I now have to stitch them again myself. I will never use these for an alteration again. I don't know how they can justify that price.

Lovley lady was very helpful with returning a parcel. Plenty of parking.

I have had to go and back and forth with a lot of regular washing for Johnsons over the past couple of months. They have always been extremely helpful and have never been late. Very very happy :)

My wife took her wedding dress to be cleaned and when it returned, the bottom of the dress had a cut part as you can see in the picture below.

I went to the shop to ask for an explanation, the shop assistant said they had nothing to say about it and could not do anything about this issue. Also, we asked them to be careful with the dress, because it is very delicate.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone! The service is very poor, very expensive and they do not take care with our item!

We chose them because we thought they were professionals, but I regret it.

Had my duvet cleaned and prepaid it.
It’s come back today a different colour, went in with a cream cover it’s now a pinky beige colour.
My major problem is with the assistant on duty today. No customer service manner at all. In these Covid hit time shops and services need customers more than ever but the Newcastle Under Lyme branch has lost a customer and as many of my friends and family I can tell.
Word of mouth is important to businesses and my words are now very anti that particular branch

I rang them up at 9:30 in the morning asking for my suit to be dry cleaned the same day it’s not something they would normally do but the women went out of her way to get it back to me the same day I would highly recommend Johnson’s they did a really good job on my suit Thankyou so much will 100% use these again
