Church Street Practice

I have been going to this doctor surgery since I was born (now 23) and I can't recommend it enough. It can get busy and become difficult to get an urgent appointment but that is pretty standard at any Doctors Practice in the UK. They do have a number appointment if you call in the morning and it is an emergency appointment you need then they are reasonable good at fitting you in but if they can't, I'd recommend the walk in centre too. It can be quite tricky to get a parking space at the site so I'd leave yourself with enough time in case you have to park in the Churchfield Road Carpark over the road and walk there.

I've only been there once and won't be returning again either.
Having just moved to the area I needed to register with a local GP, but they seem to take the standard 'Cattle' approach to patients here.
The reception is drab and overcrowded, and after waiting for her to finish all of her conversations, the receptionist was actively rude and thoroughly disinterested, as it clearly took her an enormous effort to tell me about the procedure of registering, and it took me all of my will not to walk out on her mid-sentence.
If that's the level of staff professionalism here, then I'd rather actually travel a distance from my home to find a practice that might treat patients as humans, rather than an annoyance.

Just awful! My husband nearly died because they misdiagnosed him. EveN after the incident they were useless so had to go to a&e again where they were upset with us why we didn’t come with these symptoms earlier. But we did... to the GP in Church Street Practice! No words express how upsetting this is. You should be closed for good!

worst doctors i have ever encountered, don’t refer important scans and very rude receptionist who do not know what they are doing

Due to Doc's lack of interest, a relatively easily diagnosed problem went untreated and I ended up in more serious pain and problems, regardless of the fact I told the Doc what the problem was.

The Receptionist was so unhelpful and extremely rude I cannot believe how I was spoken to. SHAME

One star is being generous.
Kept my sick baby waiting 50 minutes. Rude, unhelpful staff and when you complain you’re ganged up on by staff including the doctor. Completely outrageous service and attitude towards patients. Particularly a mum of a sick child who’s husband was away and had no sleep for a week and hadn’t been able to leave the house, they clearly have no conscience for peoples mental or physical well-being, baby or adult. We were not the only patients having an awful experience, a lady said to me she thought there would soon be a riot because others were also complaining and being kept waiting too long, this was only 9.30 in the morning! Avoid!

Cannot contact my own doctors. Using covid as excuse. Actively telling patients to go to another doctor! Think theres corruption going on to sell land as built temporary doctors after burned down suspiciously. Need doctors recommendation while abroad but no reply. Website says shutdown for foreseeable future!!Were does Tax money for NHS go??
If can go in restaurants should be able to go in doctors! Want a paid fee for any doctors letter or email!
