After walking around various chain stores to try and get advice on a TV i was still absolutely confused as the staff had no knowledge and I felt lost. I then walked into R. Barker and for the first time I felt like there was people there who cared and also knew what they were talking about. I purchased a TV and could not be happier. For great advice and a great selection I recommend these guys!! Fantastic

Our TV suddenly turned off whilst watching it, this seemed to be an electrical fault as it would illuminate for a few seconds and then not.

We decided to take our TV to R Barker in hope the TV could be repaired. They charged £30 to inspect it.
The next week we had a call to say that the fault was that the screen was cracked in multiple places, in an email R Barker said 'This may have been due to over heating but it is very hard to tell. It doesn’t show signs of impact damage, it will need a new screen'. This news came as a shock as there was no previous visual damage to the TV or picture.

We brought the TV back home and turned it on to see if it looked different from the original fault. We were frustrated to see there is now cracks all over the screen when it illuminates and damage to the rear cover where force has been used to try remove the panel with incorrect tools. It is very clear that the exact entry points they have tried to remove the rear cover, is also where the cracks start. R Barker have not provided an honest service.

We requested that the £30 was refunded as a minimum to which they have refunded but we are now left with a TV that is beyond repair.
