Stuart solved our electrical issues that had left us unable to use multiple appliances at once since having work done by someone else. He also fitted our new oven for us. Stuart made the process so easy for someone like me who hasn’t a clue about the technical side of things, just what I would like and Stuart made that a possibility! So grateful will definitely return for any further work 😊

I contacted Stuart regarding some work we wanted doing to our electrics. He replied the same day, even though it was a Sunday! Even though he was extremely busy he was able to reshuffle things & fit our most urgent job in the following day which we are so grateful for. He was very efficient & had excellent customer communication with me. He explained everything in layman’s terms! We have booked him to perform further jobs in our house & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

Stuart, is extremely knowledgeable, professional and does a fantastic job each time. Reasonably priced too. We have used him 3 or 4 times now and are always happy throughout.

Super organised, super thorough and super helpful! I'd contacted Stuart via checkatrade and even though he was very busy, he fitted us in at a time that was convenient. Right from first contact Stuart was efficient, organised and had exceptional customer communications. He completed the work requested thoroughly, efficiently and with good humour! Stuart even went above and beyond to provide advice, solutions and reasurance regarding a concerns we had with part of our electrical system. Would definitely contact Stuart for future jobs and highly recommend.

Had electric towel radiator installed to shower room as well new extraction system in bathroom. Really happy with service, excellent communication, timely appointments and high standard of work.

Excellent. Stuart popped round promptly and quoted for installation of our EV charger and garage consumer unit replacement, then managed to squeeze us in the next week due to a cancellation.
Communication was quick and easy, messages were replied to promptly.
Very friendly and knowledgeable, Stuart explained the options and was happy to install a charger that we ordered separately (the Easee One, which is brilliant btw), and his advice saved us a fortune in having a separate cable laid from the house to garage (as quoted by other electricians). He even popped back over the weekend to finish the installation after his supplier was late to deliver a replacement MCB breaker.

I don't recommend Mayo Electrical Services for electrical work, especially for a kitchen. We felt the work was sloppy and done in a rush.

He left work undone. When approached about it, he was difficult to communicate with and unwilling to come back in time to make things right (We had plasterers waiting). The back boxes he installed were wonky. The sockets also don't align. Tried to install an unnecessary earthing cable just because he couldn't find the original one.

In the end, we had to get another electrician to come finish/fix his work. We were then told by the electrician, with what Mayo had done for our kitchen, we won't be able to have the kettle and another appliance on without the electricity tripping.

This experience was stressful. Glad we decided to hire another electrician to sort everything out.

I contacted Mayo Electrical Services as my elderly parents had now lighting at their property. Stuart was excellent and came straight away to resolve the issue. Stuart also kept me informed of progress. Would definitely recommend.
