I have used Ben and his team a few times recently. Excellent service. He always keeps you informed. Always arrive when advised and do a brilliant job. They have done various electrical work for me from small to larger jobs. They have just fitted a new consumer unit for me as well. Highly recommended.

My kitchen wiring needed to be updated for a new layout and change from gas to electric ovens. In project terms, the wiring should have been done (or planned for) sooner – like when the floors upstairs could be lifted and before new carpets were laid, but it didn’t work out that way.

A good friend recommended I should contact Ben Coulter. He wasn’t wrong.

Ben was great – not only did he respond to my enquiry promptly, even though I know he was busy, *he* was chasing *me* for information – it’s usually the other way around.

Ben sets the standards and is careful, meticulous, tidy and thinks through the solution in the optimum way. He leads a small team of electricians and all three of them – Ben, Mac and apprentice Jack - worked on the wiring. It’s clear he trains his team really well and as a result, has a cheerful, friendly and professional crew who did a very effective and tidy job (all the power points neatly in line), included a bit of trouble shooting and tidying up of previous electrical work, all with the appropriate documentation – and you’d never have known they’d had to go beneath the floor in the adjacent room. I have used this company twice now and on both occasions I have found Ben to be responsive, polite and above all professional. I recently had to have a new electric wall heater installed in a rental property which he also sourced at a reasonable price, liaised with my tenant and kept me informed. All in all a good all round service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I've used Ben Coulter several times for lighting installations, replacement of shower cabling, and for fuse box upgrade and testing. Ben and his team have provided excellent service, they are punctual, clean and tidy, they show a high level of knowledge about what they are doing and provide helpful advice when needed. Ben helped to upgrade our apartment electrical consumer / fuse box at a much more realistic cost following a poor survey and very costly quote from another company. I had Ben, Mac and Jack around on multiple occasions to replace an old bathroom ceiling extractor fan and then upgrade some dimmer switches to led compatible ones. They were very friendly and professional! The jobs both were done to an excellent standard, no more dodgy fan or flickering lights!

The trip switch was broken and kept causing my ceiling lights to go off. Ben replaced it charging only a small fee for the part and the standard call-out fee. I was expecting it to cost a lot more. The work was carried out efficiently and on time. I would definitely recommend Ben Coulter without hesitation.
