We chose OTB Electrical for their local reputation and reliable experienced electricians. We were having periodic problems with our outdoor lights resulting in the electric for the whole house tripping out. Owen’s electricians visited and quickly located the problem. They advised the best way to solve the problem was to replace the faulty lights. They also suggested that it would be a relatively simple task to update the lighting design and make it more in line with modern trends and at the same time install lighting and power sockets in my garden shed and greenhouse. We were also advised that our fuse board although safe did not comply with modern standards and regulations and that a replacement fuse board although not essential would be advisable.
We decided to go ahead with the upgrade and the work was completed quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption to our electrical supply. When the electricians needed to turn the power off we were informed and given plenty of notice so that we could prepare for having no power. The electricians’ work was clean and tidy and they were polite and friendly and we did not feel like we had workmen in our house.

Our new garden lighting system is fantastic and it is really useful having power in our greenhouse. We also feel more secure in the knowledge that our fuse board is up-to-date and providing maximum protection against electrical faults or power surges.

Will always use them

I had a failure of my lighting circuits and 3 wall sockets. I rang OTB and was told all engineers were on a training course to finish about 14:00. Owen phoned me at 14:15 and asked me to name the trip unit, he then talked me trough resetting it. Within 5 minutes all power was restored. He did not charge me and I am a new customer. I will certainly use OTB again if I have a problem. I will recommend to all my friends.Thank you Owen for all your help.
