This company was recommended. The two gentlemen was polite, on time and reliable.

Price was the best out of the other three electricians I got a quote from.

It was an out of hours request for a faulty socket in the kitchen which had tripped. Laurence was quick to respond and attend the site. The issue was resolved within 30 minutes. Very reliable professional and great problem solving skills. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I highly recommend Laurence he is really polite, friendly, professional and very reliable, very good communication on the day he was due to start the work. Carried out the work to a very high standard and left no less behind. Will be hiring again in the future for any electrical jobs that need doing.

Highly recommend Laurence. He replaced a number of light switches in our house with dimmers, completed the job in a timely manner, was a fair and reasonable quote and job was done to a high standard. A lovely guy and great at what he does.

Essential Electrics have been in no short term an absolute saviour. We inherited a a few problems with wiring in our new home, thinking it needed a little spruce, however after removing a couple of tiles found more of a horror show than a quick “diy sos”. Essential Electrics was recommended by a friend and after a thorough consultation we felt safe in having them do a bit more digging. The extent of the bodge job left by the previous owners needed urgent attention as we rightly freaked out, Essential electrics put us at ease and within a week had it stripped, renewed and brought upto current building regs. Not all hero’s wear capes, this one wears a tool belt. Thank you :)

The job required was a tricky one - either try and find a hidden junction box, in a sealed ceiling, to fix it and therefore allow the overhead light to work again OR come up with an alternative solution.
Laurence was an excellent guide in us arriving at a final solution, which was to avoid drilling multiple holes in the ceiling to try and locate the junction box and to install wall lights in the lounge instead. This is something other's, previous to Laurence, had suggested was not really possible or just weren't that interested in coming up with feasible solutions. But Laurence was interested.
He did a complicated job quickly, efficiently, tidily and superbly.
I am extremely pleased with the new look and effect for the lounge.
Laurence is also very responsive and a good communicator - so you always know what's going to happen next. And when he says he'll do something - he does it.
I couldn't recommend a better person to work with.
