I chose CBS above several online Chester based Electrical Contractors since we urgently needed an EV home charging point fitted. His ratings attracted my attention.

Despite the COVID-19 situation, Charles was timely, cost-effective and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble, the installation process was fully explained and the cost was what we had budgeted for since we had to have a new consumer unit fitted inside the garage too.

All in all, a great job, commissioned by a super efficient electrician who certainly knows his stuff. Happy to recommend.

I contacted Charles about getting an EICR report done for a house purchase and he was able to book me in that same week. He was absolutely brilliant at responding to any queries and sent the report over the same day as the inspection which was ideal for my tight deadline. The report itself was thorough and photos of the issues noted in the report were also taken. I cannot recommend CBS Electrical Services highly enough and will definitely be using them again in future.

Was in a bit of a pickle and needed an electrician's report for insurance as I thought we had broken our fridge. Charles talked me through some checks on the fridge over the phone and turned out it is working properly after all. Thanks for your advice!

Turned up shortly following my phone call, carried out all necessary procedures even though in pain following hip replacement, left home tidy, great service.

Charlie came to the aid of my parents when all their upstairs lights suddenly went off. It was a difficult job finding an electrical fault in an old house. Punctual, came same day and even rearranged his planned work for following day. Reasonably priced. My parents can't thank him enough for an excellent job. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic job wiring in a new light fitting to my outside phone box. Very reasonable price for the completed work. Very prompt response from the owner who also earthed the phone box and inserted a new fitting that looks authentic to the box. Can't speak highly enough of this company and would definitely use again.
