We recently had Ellis upgrade our electrical panel in preparation for an electric car charger installation and he was a a pleasure to work with. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable checking all possible connections and ensuring all were up to spec, as well as just being a generally pleasant person to communicate with. Ellis rewired our whole house, but we couldn't move out to have the work done, so he gave us a plan of which rooms and areas he would work on each day so that we could clear that area. He made sure that essential services (fridge, freezer and hot water or shower) always had power and he kept us fully informed of all the work.

He was very careful to minimise disruption and kept the amount of channelling and drilling to a minimum. Each evening, he did a thorough clean-up of all the mess made during the day.

Ellis did a very good clean tidy install of new consumer units to our house and workshop plus fully checking out complete electrical system and appliances. Found numerous faults and rectified all for original price quoted. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Will be using Ellis for additional works required. I used Ellis again to install replacement exterior wall lights and although cold and wet he did a very good job and was punctual and highly professional. If an electrical job is required, Ellis is the one to call.

My thanks go to EG Electrical Services (and Ellis in particular) for a prompt, effective and efficient service. The work was performed to schedule, completed on time and of high quality. During a first job, Ellis identified serious issues with the way in which the electricity has been modified during a previous extension building (e.g. bare live wires left hanging in the loft) and came back rapidly to set this straight and upgrade the bungalow's electric system to current standards. When he had to cut power while I had to deliver an online workshop, he rigged up a temporary system so that I could continue working while he was performing the repairs and trusted me to bring his equipment back to him before he needed it for the next job. I cannot recommend him enough.

Ellis is business-like and professional. He quotes a fair price and sticks to it. He arrives on time and clearly knows his craft. He is quick and good at his job, but modest and friendly with it. I have no hesitation in recommending him for home electrical work.
