Sam Jackson of Voltaire Electrical is a talented Electrican who I have used on a number of bathroom fitting jobs. Always gives great advice and is clean and tidy. I would not use anyone else.

I've used Voltaire several times for different electrical jobs for my home. Sam has installed specialist lighting for my visually impaired child as well as security cameras. He has also come to the rescue when we had an electrical emergency. I fully recommend Voltaire Electrical and wouldn't use anyone else in my home.

Sam gave a prompt, no-fuss service for a very reasonable price. He finished the job quickly and clearly values his relationships with customers. I’d certainly use him again!

We would have been leaving a good review of Sam's work had he completed the job we paid for 9 weeks ago.

We contacted Sam to replace all of our kitchen sockets, which he came out to do. Our light switch for the kitchen had something break behind it which required a replacement part. Sam said it was no problem to replace and would come back the following week, that was the 2nd of June. It's now the 30th of July.

The socket is on the wall with a missing screw on one side and we have been told we can't put a screw in that side ourselves as it would be dangerous due to the missing part behind the face plate. We paid a fair amount of money after saving up to get our kitchen sorted and feel completely ripped off and let down.

Sam was phoned, emailed and text multiple times with messages left and never responded to them. We got one response once to say he was coming on a set date to finish the job, I cancelled my plans to wait in for him and he never showed or answered his phone.

I can not recommend booking him based on the really poor service we have received.

EDIT: Since leaving this review my partner was contacted by Sam to arrange to come and complete the job, there was no apology for the complete lack of communication or response to any of our messages. The work was completed on Friday 12 weeks after the initial install. I'm leaving my review up as it's still valid, although now the work is completed.

POOR AFTER SALES
He did a rewire for us last year. The work seemed to be fine, although he wasn’t easy to get hold of when not on site. Sam suggested we have kinetic lighting, which is great but, when in April he came to set up the app for lighting, he noticed one of the wi-fi sender boxes was faulty. Sam said he would return the following week to replace. That was April and it is now nearly August. Sam has not responded to any of our emails, texts and voicemails. If he’s still alive, we wouldn’t recommend.
