Outstanding service. We wanted to have some lights in the garden as well as a light and a socket fitted in the garage. Richard advised us how it could be done and gave us a few ideas which fitted into our plan. We really appreciated how helpful and honest he was as we did not know much about this. We are very happy with the result!
We will be doing some light fittings in our kitchen and bathrooms in the near future and we will definitely contact Pro Volt again.

Pro-Volt stepped in a my previously chosen electrician did not turn up. At first they could not be more helpful. However I would suggest you stay well clear. They did not so much cut channels in the walls and ceilings for the rewire, they destroyed them which meant entire ceilings had to be rebuilt and large areas of walls replastered. I had 12' x 1' holes (see photos)! They kept leaving doors open when drilling so the whole house was covered in thick layers of dust, not just the room they were working on. Apparently they don't do the method of feeding the wire through. The worst bit however, is the con with the charging. The quoted one figure and said it would be split into 4 pieces of work. I got estimates for the1st two, the first of which I paid, then part way through the work on my kitchen when I have no electricity in it or in some of the surrounding rooms, they sent me the final estimates for the final 2 which increased the whole price by £4,000! They did this knowing I was then in a vulnerable position. They left me with no electricity in my kitchen, including lighting, for a week, and "forgot" their promise to give me light for the weekend and only turned up when I insisted. I have no working sockets in my utility room so my washing machine and tumble drier were not working. they disconnected then left my fridge freezer off without telling me, only coming back when I insisted. Their solution was to bring cable reels to reconnect them leaving trailing wires, which I have tripped over multiple times, not good as I walk with sticks. I will be reporting them to the relevant bodies.

Pro Volt stepped in when our electrician let us down last minute for our kitchen renovation.

From the time we reached out by messenger on Facebook, to being quoted in person, they were professional and punctual. The costs were brilliant and I cannot praise the work enough. Our plasterer was very happy to see the quality of the wall and ceiling channeling was done correct making his job to plaster much easier.

The whole team were friendly, informative and always kept the area clean even though our kitchen has been a building site for weeks!

I don't often leave reviews, but Richard, Jeff and the team at Pro Volt did such great work and just impressed me overall that they deserved this credit. I had a new consumer unit fitted along with spot lights in the kitchen and some sockets throughout the house. The communications from start to finish we fantastic. Any question or slight changes I required were dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner. We even had to make some changes on the day of insulation and Richard was able to accommodate the necessary alterations easily. After an unexpected fault on one of the old sockets, which was tripping the new fuse box. The guys were able to arrange leaving me with power while coming back the following day and rectifying the issue. Their knowledge, friendliness and professionalism means I will definitely be using them in the near future, when the never ending home improvements continue, thanks lads!

I'd highly recommend Rich and his team to anyone needing electrical work done. Rich is very knowledgeable and he and his team did a great job at ours (moving a light switch, installing an exterior light and changing a light fitting type). They were very professional, always turned up on time and kept us updated with their progress. We found the quote to be reasonable and are really pleased with the standard of work. We will definitely be using Pro Volt again.

Richard, thank you so much for transforming my bookcases into two absolutely gorgeous cabinets.

My two Jaycee cabinets are around 35 years old and very good quality- they’re British made out of British oak so I didn’t want to part with them!

Richard replaced the old lighting in the top of the cabinets with modern lighting and suggested adding two strips of LED lighting under two of glass shelves in each of the cabinets. The result is unbelievable!! One of the cabinets is still a bookcase but the books are now strategically placed on the glass shelves to allow the light to filter from the bottom to the top. The other bookcase is now a beautiful cocktail cabinet. I am so thrilled with the transformation.

I would recommend Richard to anyone who wants electrical work done - he’s very professional, knowledgeable but, most of all, he’s a charming and trustworthy young man.

We approached Pro Volt after recommendations on a Facebook Group. We were looking for electrics to be supplied to our garage, not really knowing the in-between process. Richard arrived and explained the whole process, including works that needed to be carried out before he arrived. He gave an initial quote and after us being awkward (wanting to save money) we asked for a revision of the quote after removing some of the work he would have had to do. This is the reason I have docked a star on the rating - the 2nd quote came through more expensive even though it had less work listed. That being said.. Richard turned up on the proposed day with his assistant, completed the work in good time, everything done aesthetically and they were both very professional at all times. The invoice we were presented with didn't match the second quote, it was cheaper (not complaining!). I think it's the confusion surrounding the invoicing that confused us. However, I can see that Pro Volt are constantly looking to improve their ways of working so I hope this feedback can help with that. Thank you so much for the brilliant work you've done - I would definitely recommend Richard and his team. Top job, thanks guys 😊
