Bang & Olufsen

I've been a fan of Bang and Olufsen for a few years, and proudly own a few of their products. I've been to various stores in London where they have been very helpful, hold a great conversation and have a good atmosphere.

However, when I went into this store I didn't feel the same care for the customer nor feel the atmosphere was great. The mood was somewhat subdued.

I tried the E8s, and I was looking forward to coming in to try these out and test them thoroughly. I was quite disappointed with the product, mainly because I wasn't thoroughly shown how the headphones worked. Now luckily I did some research, and I worked it out in the end but with any other customer who wasn't so familiar would be lost and just walk out.

I'm sure that there were no bad intentions as they were trying to make a sale. Maybe I came on a bad day.

I'm still a fan of the products, and I will go into another store but I'm afraid that I won't be visiting this one anytime soon.

Staff unable to answer questions or queries about their own line of headphones or guide customers in exploring their products. Either that or deliberately do not want to help. Not sure which would be worse. Surprising and disappointing.

Stunning place. Absolutely incredible. Only problem is, they really don't make things to the standards they used to. I mean that mechanically and visually, as I've he'd many of their older and newer items apart and have seen the differences. It isn't good, so definitely go for the slightly older or even vintage gear

I was introduced to the Bang & Olufsen Islington guys from a friend. I would very much likely recommend Bang & Olufsen Islington for all your B&O fans out there. They are very much down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. Don't take my word for it, just pop by their Islington shop and see for yourself. Thank you Rahul for looking after me everytime I'm in the shop.

I visited the b&o store in Islington on Saturday and I felt I had a wonderful day out experiencing music at the highest of levels!!! The manager showed me several in ear and over ear headphones and I tried them all out till I decided on my purchase. This is my go to store for great staff offering amazing advice in a relaxed environment. Well done guys !!!!

Very friendly and very good sales people - make you feel that they ll be with you along the way and you don’t have to worry if you are not an expert but then they fail to deliver

Unfortunately each sales works for their own under the b&o umbrella and then if you have a problem with your sales, the rest say “nothing I can do mate”…

Spent 7k in gear they suggested and 18 months after still not been able to watch a movie properly because the installation gent (after 3 paid visits) says it’s configuration and the sales doesn’t seem to make it click or is always busy in other jobs (selling probably?)

Ratio of 5 calls to the shop per reply and chasers after chaser … which means you end up writing a review like this but literally they do not seem to understand your frustration of 18 months

Given them a few chances to fix the situation promise after promise but unfortunately summary is great sales…., horrible horrible horrible after sales service

Happy to change this review if we manage to watch a movie over Christmas (in one month!)
