Went to the stoke fair last Sunday with the sole purpose of buying a new laptop for my son. After paying £8 for My son and I to enter we walked around the small room to find one stall selling old laptop computers and were told that several traders had not shown due to the weather earlier in the week.
We left after a minute and asked for a reason on the basis that trades had not shown and were offered a free pass for the next show which was useless as we were buying a laptop that day, not in several months time.
I would not waste your time or money going to these shows as you can buy cheaper at your local stores or online.
I would rate this at zero if I could!!

Would give 0 stars if I could, it was an absolute rip off. Nowhere on the event page was an entrance fee stated, only once you get to the entrance to the event, and it's £5 for a tiny room with overpriced garbage! Anything worth buying was well overpriced, but made to look as if it was reduced. Absolutely 100% AVOID.

Visited in Newport today and the fair was so disappointing. Went to buy an iPad and not a single one there even though they were advertised and we were early in! Most products were old and very overpriced for what they were. Definitely rip off merchants. You also have to pay admission to the fair to actually view any items. Must have been like ten stalls at most AVOID!

Went to a fair at the Mansfield civic centre. Having worked with ict systems for 19+ years I can say it was dreadful, only some items were slightly cheaper then there high street equivalent. your better off buying online and waiting.

I was surprised by an entrance fee of £4.50 due to only seing a banner advertisement with no mention of an entrance fee.
This was way to much for what was on offer, less than 10 stalls, most of which sold the same items at bazaar prices. Not one stall had pc matinance supply's (cleaning supplies, diosnostic software etc.) that I could find.

Only plus the vendors were nice and seemed knowledgeable about ict in general, still not worth the admission fee.

I was charged £5 to enter this event, received a parking fine int he process as no one advised the cars had to be registered only to get in to a poor event. Will not be attending future events and it's a shame that no stars can''t be selected.

£5 entry for awful budget PC builds with incredibly poorly chosen parts. Putting an elite processor with one of the cheapest graphics cards on the market and a single stick of extra value ram with no cooling and not utilising dual channel. The TVs are more expensive than you can get online and the only "cheap deals" that are there are second hand dirty old laptops with 1yr warranty that means nothing.

Never ever go to these. Ever.

I have been to a number of Premier events, and always been happy with the purcheses I have made.
It amazes me the number of contributors thinking Entry should be free, check out the price of room hire,be sat down when you find out, I know the rates and some are staggering rates.
Stallholders rent does not cover hire fees, try to take that into account when moaning about entry charges please,it's only fair

Shockingly disappointing. The majority of hardware was over 5 years old, event was full of generic e-waste that you can find on wish.com; fidget spinners / cordless phones / unbranded network devices etc

The hardware is definitely not at trade prices, you'll find better bargains on amazon, scan, ebuyer etc.
