Not a good experience. This store is beyond understaffed and the few staff who are there are completely incompetent and useless. It shouldn’t be this difficult to spend hundreds of pounds, no wonder people buy online at other retailers. After finding the product I wanted I had to find staff, this was almost impossible! I finally found a lady who seemed to have no purpose, she was stood there literally doing nothing and when I asked about the product, she said she’d find a sales colleague… why are all the staff not trained to do the very basic job of getting the product from out back and whacking it through the till? What was her purpose other than to wear a whole load of rainbow lanyards while standing and doing nothing? Anyway, I went back to the products and waited like she told me to… no-one came! I waited ages, I could see other customers with the same frustrated look on their faces. Finally someone saw I had been waiting for a long time and helped, however despite being helpful he was still very unprofessional, maybe stressed from the understaffing issue. This is without a doubt the worst store I have been to and I will not be going back. Next time I’ll just go to John Lewis where ALL their products come with a 2 year guarantee, their staff are helpful and I don’t leave feeling stressed. I can’t see Currys surviving if this is how they operate their stores!

Retail price is competitive but then come the extras. Can't delivery for 11days. Delivery will be £35. Take away the old one... That's another £20. Want it installed.. . Another £85!

The worst shopping experience I have had in a good while.
Around 2 weeks ago my wife and I went to buy Norton security for our devices,a seemingly simple thing to do.
We waited for a while 5 or 6 mins and no one came to assist. I went and found a member of staff on the help desk who just pointed in the general direction of where I would find it.
When found we went to the 3 unstaffed tills where we waited a further 5 minutes, still no one came to serve us.
I then went back to the help desk but the woman disappeared before I got there.
In the meantime another customer had managed to find a staff member to serve them at the tills. Alas they still couldn't take any money as the tills weren't even switched on.
I then went back to the help desk where another member of staff was available. Only to find the till didn't work....again.
We eventually spent around 20 minutes in the store buying something that should have only taken 10 at the most.
I find the staff in this place very unhelpful and disinterested in doing their job....
We won't be returning anytime soon.

Christchurch branch, collected mobile phone from Alison who was engaged with another client. He waited 44 mins as unable to resolve address problem, so walked out saying he would buy 2 mobiles elsewhere. Alison now dealing with me and 2 others at same time. After being there for 1hr 35mins I left with my new phone feeling fhe service was very second rate due to total lack of support.
Lesson learnt, buying at an attractive price shouldn't be the main reason, as service should be the 1st reason, to a old unnecessary stress !!!

I bought a cordless vacuum under a year ago, battery has fault code so returned it to store. Currys can't help or won't help, I have to contact manufacturer myself ( not open at weekends) for support. This is totally rubbish customer service in 2022. Apparently they do not keep spare batteries in stock, why?? This is not a dig at the staff who are brilliant.

Poor selection of products to actually take away and completely disinterested staff who just look products up on thier own website (which you could do yourself at home). There was nothing that made me want to shop here instead of online and because of this experience I'd choose an alternative online retailer if I did.
