False statement of saying the receptionist being rude. 1) while we was on the line it did not take a minute and she picked immediantely. 2) She spoke politely, calm and understandable when talking to my mum. 3) I dont know about the embassy but I am sure they will improve it.

I would like to say that I am proud to be a British Sierra Leonean however....service is abysmal! Staff speak to guests as though they are 2nd rate and spend their time actioning requests really slowly.

Time we get professional representation, its totally embarrassing when our London based diplomats cannot even give us a basic level of service. With the exception of a few (who are actually quite helpful) and of course the senior level teams, I really hope we see a shift in attitudes.

On a positive note, visa turn around services are pretty swift which I'd expect at that price to be honest!

If you want to speak to anyone at the Embassy, I cant not stress this enough please dont waste your time to call or email them because you will never get hold of them. 1. They don't renew passport at the embassy. 2. If you need any form of letters they will charge you around £100 up to £250 depending on your family name. 3. The Receptionist is rude. 4. The entrance to enter the embassy is at the back and if you are not be careful you will never find it. Any form of passport service you want to do at that embassy they dont do it. 5. If you need a stamp on your documents, uncle or aunty just know that you will be paying for a stamp and I am not talking about £10. At this point there is absolutely no reason for the Embassy to be open or even be there, it's a disgrace and shameful to us. If you don't have a family member back home in Sierra Leone then you will have to pay for a travel documents, buy your ticket and travel to Sierra to get your passport renew. Like I said before there is no point the embassy being there.

I did not have high expectations however this was well below. Both staff members were unpleasant; even rude and keep you waiting while clearly having little else to do. Entrance around the back is just shameful and waiting area had a stale food smell. Barebones desk and chair for waiting area.

I called the consul of Sierra Leone in Spain, for "The certificate of consulate" he told me to call or send an email to the Sierra leone embassy in London. I have sent more than five emails for more than two months now. I never got replied. to me that does not seems normal it is totally absurd.

Why are these people employed at the SL Embassy?
Authentication of any Sierra Leonean Documents seems impossible. The advice that I received from the Councilor is that I should travel to Freetwon for them to authenticate it. In any embassy they will take it and send it via diplomatic post if required. God help it’s citizens.

My goodness these people are so rude.
They should change their job if they are not happy. You can’t be treating people as if they are closing your boundaries. Please be nice to people. Thank you
