My business is to recommission and restore post-war Sunbeam motorcycles. I have been using Scholar for a few years now, and greatly value their old-school advice and services. Of course my reputation (and livelihood) is on the line with any supplier I use, so I must totally trust their work.

I have used Scholar for crankshaft journal grinding, fitting white metal bearings, sleeving valve guides, taking up the tolerances in gear oil pumps, pressing in new 1/2 time gear spindles & new bushes, adjusting crank end float, glaze busting and re-boring, valve seat re-cutting, line boring for the overhead camshaft, skimming cylinder-head gasket faces, supply and fitting spark-plug thread inserts, and numerous other tasks. They have made parts from scratch & also managed to salvage other parts that would otherwise have been written off.

A little grumpy at first, but friendly when you get to know them. ;-) Prices are very fair. And they understand when we have to work to a customer's limited budget. There are few companies that might I recommended so Highly.

Had much work done for my Seicento. Bought a 1.2 Punto engine to replace the standard. Work included flywheel lightening,top and bottom end skim, crank balance, bearings, piston rings.
Their knowledge helped contribute to knocking over 4 seconds off my 0-60 time and just as importantly they were very well priced!
