We came upon this restaurant by chance while on holiday in North Wales. What a pleasant surprise it was. The food was excellent and so was the service from the staff. We particularly liked the liver with onions and the steak & ale pie. The space is lovely as well, both the indoors and the outdoors seating areas. We highly recommend.

The table was ready for our booked time. The service was warm, friendly and efficient, not always easy to achieve. Food was good and represented good value. Been before and keep going back. Highly recommended. No hesitation in awarding five stars. Booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Lunch with a friend, went for the 3 course new Christmas menu, I had the veggie option. Good range of options and all well presented and tasty, service excellent, staff friendly and very welcoming. Not hurried so we were able to take our time and chat and followed our meal with a look round the antiques centre in the same building. Plenty of parking, lovely setting, might be worth booking as they get very busy. Good place for morning coffee and cake or afternoon tea too

I had a very enjoyable meal here with five very dear friends, and apart from the kitchen having (understandably) run out of a very popular dish, everything was faultless.

The tables were arranged so that although it was busy and full of lively chatter, it wasn't noisy. The food was very good, and a very reasonable price for really great quality.
Would very much recommend.

Wonderful afternoon - plenty of choice on the menu & all delicious home made food. I had warming sweet potato soup to start served with croutons and a warm roll & butter, chicken stroganoff with rice for main and peach & strawberry sherry trifle for dessert.

We really enjoyed our Sunday roast.
Really tasty food and plenty of it. Staff were very polite, friendly and attentive.
Puddings were really good too.
Fantastic selection to choose from.
Looking forward to heading back.
