Countrywide Shoe Repairs

Avoid at all cost. We left some items to be engraved and arranged a pick up date/location. When we arrived, the shop had shut down and moved which was not communicated to us. We went to an alternative location provided on the shop door, we found the job was not done. Rather than issuing a refund the manager put his staff under an enormous amount of pressure to get the job done. As a result, one of the items got completely damaged. Despite this, the manager refused to issue compensation or a refund. He insisted that they repair the item despite the fact that we left a new, not a repaired item with them in the first place. The shop staff decided to issue compensation for the damaged item, however we did not receive a refund for the engraving of that item. The manager then harassed us via unprofessional and aggressive phone calls, threatening and intimidating us that he knows our details and how we look. He accused us of stealing our compensation which was given to us by the staff. We were so threatened we felt it was necessery to contact the police.

Excellent service provide by Joe at Countrywide. I had an awkward shape wooden item that I wanted engraved and Joe came up with some brilliant suggestions that I hadn't thought of and then pretty much did the job I while I waited. Joe take great pride in his work and I am so happy with the finished article

I was looking for an alternative supplier of trophies and this shop seems to have what I want. I will find out next year when I need them and update my review then.

Incredible service. Bought two trophies for a charity football tournament, had them both engraved on the spot and for a great price. The owner was very friendly, I will definitely be returning when I need anything similar again. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Got passport photo taken there and various ‘bits and bobs’ handy location on the trading estate. Staff friendly and very efficient.

What a great bloke that works there. Been there a few times always leave with a smile. Great for all round services.
