Attended a great brass band concert there the other week,the helpers worked tirelessly and the interval food was a feast! Well worth going.

Smeeton westerby church is on the saddington rd to the west side of the village. Set on a narrow road outside there is limited parking especially when on service days or weddings and funeral services are taking place. The grounds are well maintained with pathways around both sides of the building a small cremation burial place is located under the west window. This leads to the rear of the building to the burial yard at the back. This is a grassed area and is fine in the summer but can be hard going for wheelchair and disabled visitors in the wet winter season due to the ground being soft. whilst the covid restrictions are being observed the doors are not always open to enter the church building (except for funeral service's) the grounds are open to visit
