A lovely building and steeped in prayer and worship. A welcoming community. Working hard to serve the village.

When Thomas Lypscombe, "Physician to Queen Anne", was born in 1546 in Silverton, Devon, England, his father, Richard, was 26 years old. At age 8, Thomas was still living in Devon in 1554, when Lady Jane Grey was executed by her cousin, Mary I, Queen of England.
He had one son, Ambrose, in 1581, and Thomas died on December 26, 1631, having returned to his hometown and living a long life of 85 years.

Undergoing some renovation work at the moment, but, it's still a very welcoming environment.
