St Mary & St John Church

Good place to have lunch on the benches outside. Could be turned into something more useful for the community. Kind of a hang out for the vagrants & vagabonds of East Oxford.

Lovely gardens and place to spend a lunch time. However it has been plagued in the past by aggressive and loud alcoholics. Despite the signs they would still drink alcohol and litter people's graves with empty cans and drug paraphernalia. Can one be any more disrespectful?? Anyway, now that most gates are closed the problem has largely gone.

Lovely old church

Family oriented parish church which will welcome you with open arms. And friendly parishioners who are just as welcoming.

Typical late victorian. Very pleasant churchyard, a lovely retreat from busy Cowley Rd

Great historical graveyard, really worth stopping and having a read of the information boards. Relaxing.
