Gabalfa Baptist Church

At Gabalfa Baptist Church, I have experienced a strong sense of belonging. Everyone has welcomed me and made me feel like part of the family. As I have looked around, no matter what age, race, or background people are from, they truly belong here. There is solid preaching of God's Word, dynamic worship, loving relationships, and many opportunities to serve and get plugged in. Here you will enjoy fellowship in Jesus Christ!

I was so welcomed when I first came to Gabalfa as a student and was brought into the church family straight away. I have learnt so much about Christ here and have specifically chosen to stay in Cardiff for the past three years to remain part of God's people here.

I came to GBC in my final year of university and settled in Cardiff because of the family and firm foundation here in Gabalfa. The family welcomed me here from my very first day and made me feel so at home. I have been constantly challenged by life here at Gabalfa and the people around me have encouraged me never to be sedentary in my Christian life. The teaching constantly challenges me and constantly fills me with hope. I love meeting with my family here.

Wonderful Christian Community. I have visited this church a number of times as a stray Englishman entering Wales. The welcome is warm. The leadership of the church is committed to the authority of The Bible. The pastor is a great guy. I love this congregation with its international flavour

A lovely family Church.
Had a wonderful welcome from a guy called Dan, his wife and family. He even gave up his seats for us.
Also there was a young assistant pastor called Samuel who did a great job speaking on the book of revelation. And he didn't let us go without greeting us.
Everybody seemed really enthusiastic there. I feel like this Church is going to have massive growth.
Plenty of food and drinks served after the service also, which I thought was a great Idea.

I went to this church by mistake and wasn’t intending to stay. However the people were so friendly and the sermon and music so good I’ve decided to hang about.

A warm welcoming place, lovely atmosphere, full of friendly people.
