Creative Writing Workshops London (CWWL)

A fun and inspiring workshop that opened my eyes to what is possible when given some practical tips and encouragement. A very supportive and safe environment to share ideas and learn from other participants as well as Diane and Stephanie. Would highly recommend this.

I did my first Writer's Workshop with these Ladies today and I loved it. A really nice group of people, fun exercises and ideas. It was well structured and most importantly I felt comfortable enough to read out what I had written. Definitely worth the time if you are starting out with your writing or you need some inspiration to go on with.

I have been to several of Diane & Steph's classes and each one has been both a fun and thought-provoking experience. There's something about the relaxed atmosphere they create which helps to loosen the anxieties of writing and I have found that effect continues well after the course. The latest course 'Deeper into Plot' gave some very useful tips on scene construction and the importance of defining a clear literary purpose. Highly recommended. They deserve all the 5 stars.

My first experience at a creative writing workshop and I absolutely loved it. It was charming, funny and relaxed. I left feeling inspired and grateful for new knowledge. Already booked the next one with Diane & Stephanie. Can't wait!

Brilliant writing workshops - I had no experience of creative writing before attending (others were a mix of experience levels) but the relaxed approach made me feel totally at ease. By the end of a session you have written several little snippets of prose and learnt a lot of tools, exercises & techniques to hone your writing skills. I feel a lot more confident writing as a result, and motivated to keep going

'Deeper into Plot' - what an excellent course! If anyone is writing a novel or even thinking of writing one, then this enjoyable and informative session will give you the inspiration and the building blocks to carry on. Although it is set in lovely, informal suroundings and there is lots of laughter, the tips I learned there are proving to be invaluable. Highly recommended!

An inspirational, thought-provoking workshop; it was fun to be able to write a few paragraphs using the prompts that Diane and Stephanie provided and then to share them with the group, although there was no pressure. It was fascinating to hear what other people had written too. I got lots of writing ideas from this session as well as many hints and tips. It was a treat to be with such pleasant, like-minded people and to enjoy coffee and brownies in such stylish surroundings.

I've absolutely loved these workshops! Friendly, fun and open with fantastic feedback and opportunities to really develop your writing. Diane and Stephanie have been incredibly helpful with offering tips and advice both during workshops and as part of follow up homework exercises. Highly recommended!

I attended the beginners workshops on character, plot and dialogue during lockdown. They were brilliant. The small group sizes and no pressure to read made for the perfect place to practice.
Diane and Stephanie are great teachers, they shared many useful tips and exercises to help my writing. I particularly enjoyed the insightful feedback they provided. I have caught the bug and will definitely return!
