Croft Mill

This was my first time ordering from Croft Mill. I wanted some better quality lining fabric and somebody recommended coming here. I was very pleased with the choice, the quality and the prices of what was on offer. The service was good and I have used some of the fabric already; it's very good. I shall buy from Croft Mill again!

Came across Croft Mill after my usual shop didn’t have what I was looking for. This is now going to be my usual shop. They have an amazing range of materials & accessories. I bought some pretty blue chambray material printed with pink flowers. I was delighted with it and have made some dungarees (not the best photo, sorry). Great service & great prices.

I have been buying fabric from Croft Mill since the 1990’s since a newsletter was posted out with a description but there was no way to see products before purchase. Online now is so much easier. My recent purchases were all great value and I was very pleased with the quality and the delivery of fabrics.

I enjoy online shopping at Croft Mill. Their materials are great as is their pricing and delivery. The chocolate taffeta material, the lining and thread that I have bought are probably going to be used to make a coat or a dress for my niece's wedding next year. Although I haven't yet sewn the taffeta, it is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to make something gorgeous with it. Margaret

Excellent customer service. Have always telephoned if there is a query about my order or stock is not available. They discuss and suggest alternatives. Fabric I have received has been of really good quality. Delivery is usually very good. Croft Mill is my first go to place for specific fabrics because of their reputation for quality. Have always found staff to be very helpful and efficient.

Croft Mill has a terrific range of fabrics at very reasonable prices. The website is easy and fast to navigate. The only time I have had a problem, receiving the wrong colour fabric, it was very quickly rectified. All round excellent service.

My go to place for fabrics, they stock a lovely range with some really beautiful textures, colours and designs. Samples are available if you wish to check before you buy and delivery is perfectly acceptable. They also contact you in case of any issue so all round very good service.

The order was processed with no complications, and arrived in good time, despite postal strikes and Christmas posting dates. Which is why I give 1 star. However the fabric which I ordered and paid for was received by me in the condition this condition:
The 3 meters of fabric which was sent to me was not in a good state when it arrived. The fabric was creased in ripple type pattern, as if it was the end of a bolt and had been all screwed up. The edge where is was cut was not even a straight line, it was as if a big lump had been cut out of it. And then as I was ironing the creases out of the fabric, because it was completely unusable when it arrived - there was some sort of white sticky area right in the middle of the fabric… I tried to remove it, but it would not come off… as if it were white glue.. I had to move my pattern around this area to try to fit it on. So I was very disappointed in the fabric as it was sent to me, the quality and the price of it was not good value at all. I would think twice before buying any further fabric from Croftmill, which disappoints me. I have emailed the company to inform them but unfortunately I have received no response.
