Happy Stitcher

My sewing mad grandaughterand I were delighted to discover Happy Stitcher at Pamphill Dairy. Wonderful range of fabrics and friendly knowledgeable service.

Always a friendly welcome. Very well stocked shop. Never feel pressured and help always on hand. Very competitive prices.

Always a variety of lovely fabrics. The owner is lovely and knowledgeable and we always have a good chat.

A lovely little find could not fault the food. It was very busy but I felt there was space. I asked if they did something off the menu as my partner could not eat many of the things that were included in the dishes on offer. They duly abliged. There was fish and chips which she could have had but did not want that as we had that the previous day lol. So she plump for soup and a sandwich which was a feast in itself. I went for the pork which was lovely and tender. The drinks was served promptly as with the meals. We wasn't rushed at all credit to the staff. The only draw back i found was something i must have missed was the service charge. Which is fine but i like to make my own mind up and for a pub this was something i don't normally come across. No doubt many more will follow due to current rising costs. I did ask for it to be removed. The charge was unusual in itself as it wasn't the normal 10 %. Anyway once again a lovely meal and a good atmosphere. Welldone.

Welcoming place to visit, very helpful. Also enjoyed the farm shop and butcher's. The fresh farm milk 🥛made my day
