Closs & Hamblin Winchester

This shop has a lovely range of good quality fabrics. The staff were friendly and helpful. I bought some beautiful fabric to reupholster our dining room chairs and whilst the fabric is reasonably pricy, you get what you pay for and the quality is very good. That being said they had a good assortment of cut off pieces in the sale section which are plenty big enough for smaller projects like chair seats.

We went to the cafe for a coffee. Good experience - I remained there while my other half went shopping. She got all that she needed and didn't have to put up with me milling aimlessly around! Everyone was happy 🤣

Ye olde haberdashery shop in glorious Winchester. If they don't stock it it's probably not worth having. The wife always finds material to suit her needs. Nice old fashioned service.

Wife's favourite shop in Wimchester. They have sale on as unfortunately like all their other branches they moving and downsizing to smaller premises due to poor footfall post the pandemic :-(

Excellent selection of gifts and haberdashery. Yarn selection is limited, mostly acrylics and Rowan yarns.

Visited store whilst on recent short break in Winchester. Good old fashioned store. It appears to be relocating and I hope it stays within the city as it would be a great loss

Fantastic couple of hours browsing and eventually buying some fabulous yarn. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and available, so great customer service. Took regular tea breaks in their on site cafe, great customer service again. Lovely atmosphere. Am already planning my next visit!
