Sherwoods Fabrics

Very good service from customer service when I inputted a wrong email address. It was swiftly sorted out for me.really pleased with Sherwood Fabrics and just love the quality of the fabric.

I have ordered from this company for over two years now and always had issues with my deliveries or fabric. I have had fabric arrive stained and it took me so long to get a replacement (many back and forth emails) although if you read through previous reviews someone said they had their stained order replaced straight away with no issues - I did actually quote that back to them and that is when I finally received an exchange....The fabrics are not cheap and the fact that it takes 7+ working days to process your order you would think it would arrive in pristine condition... I paid £8.99 for48h tracked delivery which took 9 days to arrive. I suppose it is what it is, though, I have not come across such high charges anywhere else for such slow service.
The fabrics are of course of high quality as you would expect at £16/m+. If I was to rate the fabrics I would happily give Sherwoods 5/5 :)
However the business model and customer service has plenty of room for improvement.

Ordered several shirting fabrics from Mexico.
Customer service was great, I contacted them before purchase to know some more details about shipping and they answered in less than 1 day.
Delivery was fast and smooth and the quality of the fabrics is great!

Fantastic store, wonderful selection of fabrics, have managed to get some really beautiful ex designer fabrics at a very good price. The service is excellent too. I have had two orders from them so far and they will definitely be my 'go to' for the next time I need to order fabric.

Quite recommended place to buy fabrics. I have place many orders here and I was never disappointed. They have quite a large range of fabrics. I do recommend this website because they have gorgeous fabric, we get whatever quantity we need (sale by half metre or full metre only tend to bother me a lot). They have a good stock. Helpful customer service too!

I've poured over this fabric online for hours, so when i saw it at Festival of Quilts i was SO happy. The prints are absolutely gorgeous, even better than they look in photos and the team are super knowledgable and helpful. I bought about 5 lengths and cannot wait to get sewing again. THANK YOU!

A great selection of fabrics at very good prices. The customer service is excellent. I'm a bit addicted to the remy sacks.

Update: the Remy sacks are brilliant. Just opened a new one and it was like Christmas. Fabulous value for money.

Absolutely horrendous customer service! Took over three months to resolve an issue. I ordered two “different” fabrics on two separate orders and received two cuttings that were identical. Can’t be sure that what your ordering is what you receive. And at £15 a metre that’s just not good enough. Was promised swatches that never arrived and on the first order they also sent entirely wrong fabric. Can’t reach anyone on the phone and everyone I spoke to via email couldn’t have been less helpful. I understand people make mistakes but the way they dealt with the whole situation was truly dreadful. I never write reviews but this was genuinely such an awful experience. Steer clear.
