Calico Kate

Amazing shop. I bought a load of neutral fabric in November for a nursery, I was served by Kate(not "The" Kate, Kate the employee) she was so helpful and very kind and as excited about my projects as I was 😁 we have since found out our grandbaby will be a girl, I wanted to incorporate some pink from the same range. I ordered half hour before closing Monday afternoon and my fabric was with me Tuesday morning. I can't thank them enough. Fab shop, lovely staff, amazing choice. If only we lived closer.

The most amazing place. Looks tiny from the outside but once inside there is room after room of quality quilting fabric. Then the lady says there's more upstairs! Again room after room of gorgeous fabric. All arranged in a very helpful way. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. And they have lovely Rowan knitting yarn and some very tempting cross stitch kits. If your in West Wales it's so worth a visit.

A lovely lady I believe her name is Karen not only found the fabric I wanted but kindly chose two more fabrics to coordinate .It arrived today Tuesday . The postage was reasonable and delivery certainly was express. What a wonderful company I have used them before and am always amazed and delighted with the willingness of the staff and their efficiency and knowledge .

Firstly, this is the only place I could find the fabric I was searching for being sold by the metre...plenty of pre- cuts to be found but I wanted to be able to add a matching border so I was delighted when my Google search threw up this shop. I rang yesterday morning and they confirmed stock by ringing me back very quickly. The order I places at 12:30 arrived today. Fantastic service from a very friendly and helpful Kate. I will definitely use Calico Kate again online and hope I may be able to visit in person sometime.

Anybody who has ever visited Calico Kate knows how wonderful this Aladdin's cave is and the staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful at the same time as being professional. Love it!

Popped in to get some wadding after being inspired by the quilting exhibition next door. It was very tempting to come out with a lot of stuff than I planned. As well as a huge choice, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small sheltered garden and seat at the back so you can leave your partner to play of their phone while you have a good look around.

A massive range of materials in the dozen or so rooms that make this shop, but what kept me entertained was the range of quilts and other decorations that adorned the walls. Staff were friendly and helpful, too, thank you

This shop is fantastic! Be aware that it's mainly geared towards quilting so it's mostly cotton - but still great for many dress making projects if that's your thing. But OMG there is a huge selection of cotton fabrics, haberdashery and wool too, spread over a dozen different rooms. Kate (owner) and Lesley are lovely and so helpful. Your only problem will be too much to choose from.
