Great place for quality food plus a good cafe with indoor and outdoor sitting overlooking the River Orwell and the bridge. Had a decaff tea and coffee which were good flavour. Scone was very nice too!

Highly recommend The Cookhouse for food and it's views. Both absolutely incredible. Decent vegetarian selection too, and not the usual cheese on toast 3 ways! Very impressed.

One problem, service. Team forgot to take our order, forgot that we needed cutlery and then delayed in payment. Manager was apologetic and said a discount would apply, it didn't. Looking at the service staff, not 100% sure they really know what they were doing, or supposed to do. No urgency in speaking with customers. I think if we were not all mesmerized in looking at the view, complaints would be left, right and Chelsea!

A fabulous place to visit, lovely selection of cheeses, meat, wines and almost every treat you dream of, small garden centre, loads of gifts and toys, where does it end, you just have to visit and see for yourself, we've been going there for a long time and always love it,n ever intending to spend too much but hay why not, then enjoy a coffee and cake. Got to stop now go look them up on Google!!

Good range of Christmas gift food ideas. Must try the cafe next time. Deli/bakery section has wonderful choice of foods. A great place to go if your looking for home and garden gifts for people of all ages and tastes.

Always been happy with the service shopping cafe here. Great place to meet friends. Sadly like many organisations the cafe has gone down the route of card only transactions. Be inclusive don't discriminate allow everyone to use your service no matter how they choose to pay.

Everything you need from a food hall. Delicious and tempting treats, good selection of food, nice butchers and delicatessen counter. Lovely shop out the back, with nice blankets and wrapping papers, among an array of other special items. Cafe too which is loaded with scones and cakes and makes a mean coffee. Just found out there’s a restaurant out the back too, past the small garden shop, currently closed for a refurb but I will be back to check this out. Fantastic when the sun is shining to have a drink and look over the water and the Orwell bridge.

Wonderful range of Fresh meat, bread, vegetables and fruits all sourced locally and their own farm. Attached large hall with a great selection of household items, books, children's toys and many other items. A very interesting area to wonder round. Good coffee shop, they are building a new seating area out side. A great place to stop off for a break if travelling on A12 west side of Orwell Bridge. I have done a review of the food hall next door. Have a look 👀😉

Took two friends here for a Birthday Breakfast treat.
Excellent service and food.
We started with Coffees and Teas followed by three different menu choices.
The staff were professional and discreet.
The food arrived all together at the correct temperature. Presentation was very good and everything tasted great.
Well done everyone involved.
