Steynton Farm Shop

This little gem goes from strength to strength. Fresh milk from their own cows, seasonal vegetables from their own fields and now cakes and chilled meals from locally sourced partners makes for a great local resource. Staff and the farm dogs are very friendly too.

Just brilliant! Jo and family have come up with the perfect healthy alternative to today’s “corporate food”: the freshest milk from their cows in glass bottles rather than plastic, eggs so fresh that you often have to wait while Jo goes to see if the girls have laid more since her last visit to them, and vegetables picked fresh from the fields every day (the person who complained about only finding radishes and potatoes should perhaps do a bit of research into food growing without greenhouses!!!). All of these produced with zero food miles.

If you can catch Jo when she’s got a couple of minutes to chat (rare as she never stops) you’ll find that she farms the right way - minimal impact on the environment, no use of imported fertiliser (why do farmers import fertiliser when their animals produce plenty? 🙄), and the traditional use of crop rotation (which replaces the nutrients into the soil without the need for additives).

It’s an incredibly tough life but one which brings so much value to her customers, so thank you Jo - you’re one in a million. Our holiday guests love your eggs and milk!

Fabulous little shop, with milk straight from the cows, eggs straight from the chooks, and veg straight from the fields. Now selling yummy cheese (made with their milk), too. Other locally-made bits and pieces (ice cream, cakes etc) usually available, unless already sold out. The reviewer who gave one star based on lack of stock clearly doesn't get the point of a farm shop - probably best for them to stick to something called a 'supermarket' in future

Our own little gem in Pembrokeshire. Milk as it should be, direct from the cow. With the added bonus of milk shakes. When you buy vegitables from here you know they are fresh as they move with the seasons. No supermarket pre packed. If you want fresh eggs then you my have to wait on the girls to lay that day. Owners and their staff alway greet you with a smile and make sure you are well looked after.
If all else fails then move straight to the ice creams or cheese all made from local milk. Just don't think about the calories to much?

Wonderful little farm shop and some of the freshest produce in Pembrokeshire, let alone Milford Haven. There is a coffee bar there now which is a newer addition, but the farms shop and milkshake station really make this place special.

Make sure you bring cash for the milkshake station. You can get takeout cups but we have bought reusable glass bottles. The syrups are cheap and there’s lots of flavours. The milk dispenser itself does take cards but bottles and syrups are paid for by cash. Plus you will neee money for the amazing farm shop produce.
