Cig Lodor Meat (Siop Carla)

The meat quality is superb. We tried the rump steak, the bacon steak, the lamb cutlets, lamb and beef hamburgers, scotch eggs, pork steak and pork sausages with apple chutney. We have barbecued all the meat and we can say it was the best meat we have ever eaten.
The shop is open till late and the owners' are really nice.

The wife and I were staying in the Gellfawr retreat and saw the signs for this shop on our way to check in.
Once we realised we had a kitchen in our room we went back to see what they were offering and what a find.
Two rump steaks, free range eggs and a sourdough loaf later we were hooked. They even went and got an onion for us from their own store. Best steak ever.
Returned on Friday on our journey home and filled a cool bag with lamb chops, mince, free range chicken, sausages, rib joint etc etc. Superb quality. Many thanks.

Lovely little farm shop, their own meat is fab, pies lovely you can get a good picnic from here to take up into the mountains. Owners are really friendly i hope they do really well and will welcome your support.

A generous steak with a good fat to meat ratio. There is a delicious creaminess to the lean meat as well as the fat. A lingering depth of flavour. Great shop and amazing quality meat on offer. Worth a visit.
