Fantastic long weekend in Daisy shepherd's hut. Hosts Tina and Paul are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Huts are spotless and have everything you need. Surrounded by amazing countryside and animals. Amazing pub a short walk away with live music, food and friendly locals!
Highly recommend the llama walks, such an amazing experience. We did the pub walk. It's very clear Tina and her team love and care for all their animals. Overall highly recommended!

Liked: We had so much fun. It was peaceful and relaxing. The shepherds hut was so cute. It was smal but everything you need is in it. The outside space you have is great for outside living.
Shower block was kept immaculate all the time.

Disliked: No dislikes

Liked: Loved staying at the Sunflower hut, absolutely cosy and gorgeous! Excellent shower and toilet facilities, so clean.

It was fun having to master the water pumped sink tap, getting the right dose of water without being splashed!!

Liked: The peaceful surroundings, everything provided (I didn’t need to bring any kitchen implements, bedding or camping hardware), the freedom the children experienced and the friendly reception from the lovely goats, goofy llamas, lively horses and the owner!

Disliked: Black rubber dust from the horse ménage which coloured feet and footwear.

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Bluecaps Farm Glamping, the huts were great, good size, little kitchen area and very comfy beds.

The toilet/shower block was clean and pleasant. there was lots of room both inside and outside the hut with a lovely field for the kids to play.

It felt very safe and the kids (aged 3 and 7) often went to seen the llamas and horses in the neighbouring fields on their own.

The fire pit/bbq was great and we used it every night. There was good seating for outside with a picnic table and 4 seats. Very relaxing and a great family break.

Disliked: There could be better signage at the entrance. We were a bit confused about where to go once we arrived at the gate opposite the farm. We had to call to get instructions, a sign showing we were at the right place would have been very welcome!

Would have been nice to have a place to buy local produce, a little shop or a way to buy food and drink.

Liked: A lovely relaxing environment to take a few days to recoup. Very accommodating to specific needs and friendly and helpful owners.
Well equipped hut and very quaint.
Llamas were excellent and the wildlife in the area was lovely to watch.

Disliked: Only slight dislike was it could have been deeper cleaned. Lots of dead flies in the windowsills and when we opened the windows live flies were in the crevices of the windows and all flew into the hut.

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating owner's, aloud us to have guests for a daytime barbecue and birthday cake (for my 9 year old). Lovely shepherds hut. Quiet, sunny, simple yet well organised.

Disliked: Nothing

I stayed with my daughter in the Poppy shepherd’s hut - very cosy with a comfortable bed . In the evening it was nice to sit outside and relax, feeling warm from the campfire - it was nice to look at the flames and surrounding nature. The facilities were very clean and toiletries were replaced when needed .
Staff - very nice and approachable ladies Julie and Trudie ( gosh I am not sure if I remember the names correctly) .
We took part in the llama’s tracking as well and that was a very fun and memorable experience !
I will be recommending this place, that’s for sure .Ewa
